AWEHIRU Neolith Black Japanese Cat Mug for Coffee or Tea (12.5 oz, PaleTurquoise)

So cute!! Great quality, perfect size for my matcha tea. I will be purchasing more to make a set. Nice and heavy..well made and almost as adorable as my cat! The perfect mug!

It's a lovely, well-made, whimsical mug. Easy to hold in your hand, and keeps warm beverages warm.It only gets four stars from me because the white glaze on the inside is seemingly porous, and was quite visibly stained by green tea after two days of use. I was unable to remove the staining with a scrubbing sponge and ordinary dish detergent. After using it for coffee, the staining is more prominent and still cannot be easily removed.Obviously doesn't affect the usability of the mug, but putting an empty one on the table for guests before serving a meal would not look good.

Cute mug! Made in China, but has a Japanese phrase inside, I guess made for the Japanese market. It says “Kyo watashi wa shuchu suru” (“Today, I’m concentrating...”). Not sure exactly what it’s meaning, but I guess it’s implying the little cat is lying around concentrating??? Charming mug, whatever it means.
