Storage box arrived all bent, I don't believe it would protect the cards properly since it couldn't event arrive without a whole bent lid. The lid is like a shallow bow.

This product was well-packaged, and took a bit of getting into! However, it is exactly as described by the vendor. The only thing I would say is unhelpful about the vendor description is the "faux leather" part, because the box has no feeling or appearance of leather in any way, so I think that's a little misleading. It's a very small point, though.The box is sturdy and solid, and the magnetic closure makes it very easy to open and shut, even for someone with slightly unreliable hands. This is a great way of keeping your cards all together, clean and tidy. There are 5 dividing cards, so that you can keep your different sets or packs of cards separated.All in all, I'd say this is an excellent product that will benefit anyone who collects cards, especially those mentioned in the vendor's product information. I am pleased with it, and think it will last a long time.

I collect cards, lots of cards, standard trading cards, playing cards, trading card games, you name it I probably do or have collected them over the years. Although binders are great, especially for trading cards where you have a fixed set you are trying to complete, there is always something that collectors end up with. Duplicate trading cards or spare cards if its gaming cards. Where to store all these is always a headache. You want something that is neat, compact and above all else protects the cards. After all its almost impossible to trade or sell your duplicates for those you need if they are not in perfect condition as all collectors typically want perfect grade A cards for their collections.This storage box offers an almost perfect solution to this problem. Made primarily of a leather look material it not only looks great, but is naturally water repellent as well as very sturdy. The top is held on with magnetic clasps which means you can remove top fairly easily, but at the same time until you want to it is held securely in place.Inside you have 3 sections for storing cards in and you are also provided with 5 dividers so that you can mark delimiting sections between groups of cards. These could be used say to keep different rarities apart or maybe different card sets apart. This is very useful, although for a box that is capable of holding up to 1800 cards it could be argued that perhaps it would have been better if the maker supplied more. Although having said that you can buy extra's from various sources if needed, or even potentially make some of your own out of plastic or card. There are tabs on the top of each divider, so you could either write onto these with a permanent marker or use stickers which is probably a better solution.As for the capacity it should also be born in mind that the value of 1800 is based on TCG cards (Trading Card Games) which are typically around the same thickness as the cards found in a standard playing card deck that we are all familiar with. If you were to use this box to store standard trading cards and the ones you collect are some of the newer generation 'thick' cards you will find this capacity will be far less, but this is not an issue with the box, just the price you pay for having thicker cards.In terms of protection again I should have mentioned the inside of the storage compartments and the lid itself are lined with a soft fleece type material which cushions the cards when the box is closed and is moved about, even turning it upside down should not damage your valuable cards.Personally I think this is one of the best boxes I've obtained to date offering a good capacity, great protection and a reasonably good looking solution when closed that will stack easily making them a compact way of storing masses of cards. This is all at a very reasonable £35 at the time of writing this review. In fact I can see myself getting several more of these for my vast collection as it will be worth it to make the storage I use take up less space!
