Perfect for any dish
I use these in a meal prep recipe "Green Chili Chicken Bowls" by "StayFitMom". They are prefect for the recipe and are just the right amount of heat. The jar is enough to make two (five bowl) batches. I love them and keep this recipe on repeat rotation.

Fantastic
I am born and raised from NM, but currently live in the PNW. Good green chili is so hard to come by and since this year the crops were not that hot we didn’t order a sack. But my family and I really wanted enchiladas so we gave this a try. Was super surprised that it even had that smell of you know it’s going to have good heat. It’s not burn your mouth but has a good bite. If you know you know. Definitely recommend and definitely plan to order again. So thankful that finally found a good piece of home.

Best Alternative to Fresh/Frozen Chile
Let's face it--if you're a New Mexican who finds themselves living somewhere other than New Mexico, life without chile is a somewhat challenging existence. It's hard to describe to non-New Mexicans just how ubiquitous chile is in New Mexican cuisine. It goes with, in, and on everything and eating it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the same day is not necessarily an uncommon occurrence. There's a very good reason that New Mexico is the only state with an Official Question: "Red or Green?" Yeah, it's that much a part of our heritage, if not our souls.Which brings us to our problem: good green chile is extremely hard to get outside of the homeland. Fortunately, Zia Green Chile Company has a good alternative if you don't have access to fresh or frozen green chile wherever you happen to be. Their chile comes vacuum packed in water in one-pound jars. The flavor, while not as good as fresh or frozen, is really pretty good and MILES above the awful canned green chile you can sometimes find in grocery stores. I would recommend squeezing/draining the water out of the chile before you use it. Of course, once you open a jar, you need to use it; it keeps in the refrigerator, but not forever! The spice level is decent, although I wouldn't call the "hot" very hot. It will, however, definitely satisfy your craving and bring you back home for a little bit, that's for sure!

OH LAWD
Roasted green chile is one of my absolute favorite flavors. I’m always trying new hot sauces and salsas whenever I can, and I have a ton of different favorites. This is so good. The heat level is dangerous, but only because it’s not hot enough that it’ll force you to take a break to stop eating.Of course, heat is subjective, but for me this is a nice amount of heat that you can feel. It’s not like most other salsas labeled “hot” that are literally mild, but it’s not like the few try hard salsas where you’re dipping your food in battery acid.I live in Arizona, and I hope I can find this locally so I don’t have to go bankrupt from buying jars of gods delicious green Chile nectar from Amazon.
