Better then glass
It’s a beautiful item and washes to a shine in hot water. It makes a LARGE mug of coffee or two regular te cups. Definitely would recommend it.

The best one I've ever used
I was a little bit sceptical when I saw the price on this, and I expected a really cheap cafetiere that doesn't do the job well. However it's been the best one I've ever used. For starters it's machined out of a single chunk of metal without any seams, which means there's no bits of coffee getting stuck in random places. Washing it is very easy. It's the same story with the lid area, because this is also made out of one piece of metal and no seams, and I don't know how they've done this. The mesh is really fine, and fits the edges of the glass perfectly without any ripples, so there are no ground coffee parts coming up. The metal work means that I can't drop this one and smash it like I have done with my glass ones all the time, but it also means that I don't have to worry about making it spotless otherwise it leaves fingerprints, because the metal work obviously doesn't have this problem. The chunk of metal at the top near the lid has a tight closure against the inner of the main body, except in one area which has a taper, so you can control the rate of pouring by turning this, Which is quite useful. And at 350ml, you can get two small cups of coffee, or one large for a single. It's just perfect, wash is easily, and even comes with a spare mesh.

Surprisingly good.
I have to say, this French press is surprisingly good. Expectations were not that high for the price, but I must admit, I am very impressed. The build quality is high and the finish is excellent. It also has a good weight and feels very sturdy. OK, it's quite small, but fine if that's what you want. The price is an absolute bargain compared to other sellers offering the same item. Very happy.
