Enjoyable book, Ryder is a football star, who has made mistakes, he and Alexis dated in high school but for some reason went their separate ways, Alexis became a nurse. Ryder wants answers so he hopes to bump into her at a party. Alexis has reservations about going to the party and seeing him. Ryder drinks heavily at the party when he fails to see Alexis so when she finally arrives he's drunk and becomes persistent in wanting to take her somewhere in his car so they can talk. They have a bad accident and Ryder is injured bad, Alexis is released from the hospital but she goes to see Ryder who is quick to blame her so she leaves. She runs into his father who offers her a job as Ryder's private nurse, Ryder starts off as a difficult patient, as he recovers they get close, will the chemistry between them lead to a HEA. I love second chance romances and this is a really good one, it pulls at your heart strings, I loved Ryder and AlexisI received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

It was a bit meh. The reason for them drifting apart wad rubbish. Considering the heroine refuses to go to a party to avoid him at first she then seems to go out of her way to be around him. It didn't make much sense.

What heart-warming story this is, obviously there are some moments of heart break but I guess it was all worth it when they had their second chance there were all in a better place to make it last.You will not help but fall in love with both Ryder and Alexis and they work together to come back from the darkest moments of their life.I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review.What a fantastic couple nurse Alexis & professional footballer Ryder becomes.At first we see how dysfunctional Ryder is & how when he's back in his home town. All he wanted to do was see his ex Alexis, but she on the other hand doesn't want to see him.But things went belly up as soon as they see each other & he JUST wants to find out what happened after prom night. It takes quite a while for us to find out what actually happened there.Here we see that Alexis gets asked to nurse him after their accident, even though to begin with it was SO tensive & lots of butting heads especially from Ryder's side.But during his time away from her, even though he's a fantastic footballer his personal life just went from 1 bad episode to another. So we hear more about that. Alexis' we hear only that she went down the path she always wanted.Here we see some deep emotional areas & though you don't really feel sorry for Ryder, I just thought he was an arse. But as the story goes along we start seeing a different side to him & it ALL boils down to Alexis with the way she is with him but then it's also the way he respects her.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I really loved “Second Chance Draft” from Roxy Sinclaire. This is a well written book and It has a interesting, engaging storyline with lovely, enjoyable characters, Ryder & Alexis, that I liked and enjoyed reading about. They kept me engrossed in this book with their story, I couldn’t put it down. This is an Enjoyable, Must Read, Romantic Story that I would recommend reading.

I love Roxy’s books, she is one of my favourite authors.I love this series.I loved this book from start to finish.I love the characters and the story.

This is a sexy fun romp and a sweet story of the red toon power of love and second chances, all would up into a nice sports romance tale. Loads of fun and definitely recommended.
