Very useful for a quick clean of carpets in kitchen and lounge. I don't have to carry the vacuum to first floor where the lounge is.My only gripe is the handle is too short and I'm not tall. You assemble it yourself by screwing sections together and I feel one was missing

I bought this to replace my Ewbank after that machine's handle broke off. I am delighted with the Wenko in most respects. It is a cheerful bright green colour. It works on carpet or hard floors without requiring any adjustment and empties easily. I love that it has a little brush (which clips onto the machine so it does not get lost ) to enable me to clean hair off the rollers. It is very quiet, which is a big plus since my cat hates the noise of a vacuum cleaner. For picking up cat hair it is more efficient than my Kirby vacuum.One negative point on the construction is that the handle come in 3 sections which screw together, but I have noticed that the sections work loose quickly and have to be re-tightened. That is a minor flaw and overall I am really pleased. Comparing with the Ewbank, I would say it has been worth paying a bit extra for because it works on hard floors as well as carpet and because the little brush makes roller cleaning a breeze.

Handle comes in 2 pieces that screw together, after a month or so of using is kept unscrewing while using it. I ended up putting some duct tape around the join to keep it in place. The sweeper does an excellent job & empties really easily. Comes with a tool to clean middle brush. Shame about the handle really, if it wasn't for that I'd be giving it a 5* rating!

Great product, it works well on wooden floors and carpets.Easy to put together and has a sturdy metal handle.Light weight.Easy to empty rubbish from.Its not the biggest carpet sweeper but it is easy to handle if you have joint or mussel problems. Its a quick easy alternative and you dont need to keep bending down as this product does the work.Like all carpet sweepers you may have to go over the area of floor a couple of times in different directions for it to pick up the rubish from the floor. Obviously its not for big items, you would still need a hoover for the main cleaning.If you have kids or pets this is an easy, non- electrical appliance thats a must have!It makes all those little jobs so easy without lugging out a heavy hoover or getting on the floor with a dustpan and brush.The little plastic brush that fits on to the handle makes clearing the brush heads of any hair caught on them.Really pleased with this so far.

Having previously owned Bissell and Ewbank sweepers, in the few months I have had the Wenko I have been suitably impressed with its performance. The emptying is different but no problem when you have got used to the procedure. Compared to the Bissell and Ewbank it is not as sturdy but as long as it does the job, thats more important.

Ok , so far this little carpet sweeper is doing a great job of picking up fluff and hair etc from my carpet. Excellent for quick cleanup between vacuuming. Does the job really well which means I don’t have to pull the hoover out every time. Makes life much easier.Now the downside. The handle seems a little light and the top part doesn’t stay in place and tends to twist even after tightening. But not too much of an issue.When emptying this, be careful because it’s spring loaded and if not opened carefully, the contents will pop out all over you and your clean floor which happened to me. So on emptying, make sure it’s over a bin to avoid that.Overall I’m happy with my purchase, but with a few extra tweaks this item could be excellent

It looks nice and is easy to use, but unfortunately it simply doesn’t do a very good job, regardless of the type of surface (I tried it on tile, laminate, carpet and vinyl)

Its compact enough but i wanted it to pick up on tiled floor - read all reviews and it said picked up dog hair. It's ok on the one rug, we have in the house - that's ok not great. The floor though it just slides over the top. We're about to put new hard floor down so i'm hoping it will pick up off that or will be a waste of money. Also doesn't get anywhere near skirting/furniture edges. Will update.
