I was super excited to do this unique diamond painting. Unfortunately, I was not sent enough Blue #3 to finish this project. I do tons of these every month since my FTD diagnosis. They help with my memory recall.

Done a lot of diamond art kits, but was looking for one that actually sparkled (translucent beads rather than opaque). I didn't love that there's a lot of blank space on this one, but at least the beads do sparkle. A lot of beads were unusable because the wrong side was foiled (the faceted side rather than the flat side), but there were enough good ones to finish the image. So-so experience.

When I was working on this painting I felt something was missing to make it pretty to beautiful....top quality. After I had placed all the diamonds I sat looking at it and it came to me what I thought would be an excellent addition. All the background was white. The spaces between the drills were white. Perhaps if it had been placed on a colored background the horse would have stood out from the background. Instead of the background swallowing up the painting with a colored background would have pushed the fire front if the painting, making the horse stand out from the background. Just a thought. Mary
