Our home back up to a large national forest on one side and on the other is nothing but rural farm and ranch land, so we have an abundance of rodents and woodland animals that love to frequent our yard. Having this electronic animal and pest repellent in our yard has done wonders to keep our yard pest free and our two dogs from getting or meeting something they shouldn't.This repller goes together in no time at all and the stakes to insert in the ground are extremely sturdy and ensure that you will not have any movement or the device falling over. I have received this product as a promotional item. Immediately after putting this in the yard and setting it up, the neighbors dog decided he wanted to come and visit and normally he bounds through the yard and right to the back door, this time he got about 3 feet into the yard and immediately stopped and turned around, seemingly unhappy with something in the yard. Later on I noticed that the squirrels who love to come dig in my flower bed were hanging out on the fence and did not want to come down into the yard at all. So success!!! It really works and my dogs can happily enjoy their yard without going into areas they don't need to be in and I can keep the unwanted critters out as well!!

Hoont outdoor animal repellerAt my home I have a huge problem with raccoons, possum, mice, pigeons, stray cats and an annoying dog barking next door.1st day I put this electronic outdoor animal, pest and rodent repeller in my backyard the dog stopped barking. Hallelujah, peace and quiet. Also no stray cats jumping the fence to use my yard as their litter box. I must admit I was skeptical when I purchased this, but I'm happy I did. Time will tell if it keeps other animals  out of my yard. I'm optimistic it's gonna work. No harsh pesticides or dangerous chemicals for my children to be harmed by.

This is the answer to my pest problems! My neighborhood is over-run by squirrels and bunnies due to a city ordinance that does not allow outside cats. This is a huge issue for my garden that gets picked over before I can enjoy the fruits of my labor. I also have a neighbor dog that likes to come into my yard and leave little "presents" everywhere against my wishes. This product is super easy to use- I had it set up in less than 5 minutes. I like that it includes multiple features to deter pests (ultrasonic sound, flashing lights, and audible sound). I didn't want to disturb others, so I set it to ultrasonic and flashing lights. Within a few minutes of setting it up, the neighbor dog was let out. The lights flashed (and I assume the ultrasonic sound played) because the dog scurried back to his yard and did his business there. I call that a win! I definitely recommend and would purchase again.

Totally useless when run on battery power. Don't waste your money. I installed the unit in mid-April and even tho I ran the unit on ultrasound only (no lights or audible alarm) the 9V batteries were depleted very quickly I pulled the unit out of the garden to do some work and decided to check the two 9V batteries with my Voltmeter -- each measured only about 2 volts (they were new batteries with verified voltage over 9V when installed)! Depleted in about a month's time. The ultra sound function obviously uses a lot of voltage. The instructions recommended running with the AC adapter, which I can't do, but didn't say that it gobbles up battery power, so the instructions are misleading. It's past the return date so I have to eat it. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

My mom is crazy about feeding the birds. The problem is, we also seem to be attracting rats to the bird feeder. We didn’t want to starve the poor birds over the winter so needed a solution that would deter the rats but not the birds.This rodent repeller has several modes and can emit ultrasonic waves, an audible alarm and strobe lights in different combinations. It also has a motion sensor. The ultrasonic waves were enough to deter both the birds and rats...so didn’t work for our purposes. The audible alarm was too much as well. Surprisingly, just using the strobe light that was activated by motion did not scare off the birds, but did scare away the rats. I like that there are so many different modes you can use depending on the situation. Great buy.

Had an issue w some critter digging into my yard. Posted this facing the area. Nothing else deterred whatever it was. Giant holes all the time. Set it up popped it in the ground easy peasy. Not a single new hole. I could finally fill on the holes and plant grass seeds. I have my yard back. Whatever little critter was just tearing it up is gone. No poison no traps no killing no relocating no additional fees and services from animal exterminators. Just this. It took me less than 5 min to set up. No hard wiring no nothing. Why didnt i do this sooner!

Works exactly as advertised, though the pigeons in my backyard don't seem to have read the advertisements. The birds do seem tentative and not quite sure what to make of this thing, so I think it is helping. It sure got my the cat's attention when the strobe first went off.The only real downside is that if you use batteries is it will eat thru them pretty quick. Maybe a couple weeks. But I guess that is to be expected.

Simply does not work; after one week three rabbits sitting directly in front of unit did not affect them at all. Within three weeks all five units had completely used up ten 9-volt batteries (expensive). Gave it almost four week trail........very disappointed.
