I actually got this aluminum bracket with the hopes of mounting an oil transfer pump. The bracket with the rubber insert is the 58mm that they note but with the rubber isolator removed it can mount a 2.5” pump. The aluminum is cut clean with minimal marks but they could do a better job deburring it. I ran my hand around it and didn't get any cuts but on the inner edge where the filter or pump would mount I’ll definitely clean that up before using it. I’ll also use some blue loctite on the screw that clamps it when it gets installed.The bracket and isolator weigh 128g. The bracket alone is 88.5g for those shaving weight. The hex to tighten it is a 5mm key. It looks like you could fit a max of 2.55” inside the bracket with the screw still fully threaded. The mounting holes are 0.28” diameter (roughly 7mm and change). They are spaced at 4 3/8” apart. The aluminum bracket is just under an inch wide. The rubber isolator is right at 1.6” wide.I may get another one or two of these for the Aeromotive / PQY style fuel and oil filters I have. The finish on the bracket has a little more pronounced brushed look to it but its pretty similar to the PQY filter housing. It looks a lot better than the steel bracket that came with it.

The actual inner diameter including the rubber strip is 2 5/16" which is closer to 59mm than the claimed 58. The clamp can expand open about 1/8" further than that, when the screw is at its loosest setting. And being aluminum you could probably stretch it a little more if needed just to get it installed.The strip is 1/8" thick, so without it the inner diameter is 2 9/16".Nice strong blue color!The edges are sharp because of burrs all over the place.

Well made and competition worthyI build race cars as well as street rods and muscle cars. I served as a tech inspector for my local SCCA Region. This is a high quality piece made from an aluminum extrusion. It was nicely anodized in red that matches Aeroquip and Russell fittings. There were some buffing and grinding marks in the part that were anodized over. It’s this issue that would stop this part from being show or concours worthy. This part will be used to hold the fuel filter on the frame rail of my street rod.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this bracket my Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 5 stars!

Of course this look great! I say of course, because if it didn't, then I would not have ordered it. I ordered the red anodized model and the finish is good. I think it's made out of billet aluminum, at least it looks like billet.It grasps my generic fuel pump very tightly and I believe it will last forever.I am very happy with this order!

I ordered a new fuel pump for my 280Z restoration project and needed a bracket to install it to the frame. This bracket is a perfect snug fit for the pump that I purchased. The bracket itself is very well and nicely finished in a black anodized coating, with a thick rubber insulator to go around the pump and an Allen head fastener to tighten it down. I couldn't ask for anything more, especially when you consider the very reasonable price.

I ordered this fuel filter mounting bracket for a custom build I"m working on, and while the package this item arrived in was as plain as they come (literally no writing on it at all,) the blue bracket itself looks really good. The edges are finished nicely, and the dimensions are spot-on. It is exactly what I needed. A+
