How Iguana Says I Love You! (Little Traveler Series) Board book – March 1, 2016

I love these books. I have 4 of them now. My daughter is trying to say the words in other languages. However, it doesn't have much of a story, so don't expect much. But I make it into a story with the kid. I can speak one of the languages already in the book, which makes it fun to practice with my daughter. I'm likely going to get a few more. It's a fun easy introduction to other languages.Fun Fact. The iguana leaves and arrives in Los Angeles.

We love this series. It takes an animal through 8 countries (France, Russia, Egypt, India, China, Japan, and Argentina) where he says this phrase in each language. Compared to the other books, this phrase (I love you) is pretty long and difficult. I would suggest that you start with the other books first, and move onto this book if your child appears to be a linguist.

My baby loves this series, so I give it five stars over-all, but I had to knock one off of this particular book. Not sure why, but this is my baby's least favorite book in the series. Otherwise, the book is very cute. The iguana family's home town is L.A.

These little traveler books are my daughter's favorite books! She has them all and read them constantly. She loves to look at the map at the end of the book and we point out places that we've been to and places where our extended family lives. Really great series, you won't regret buying this book!

Love this series! It is so fun to hear my kiddos say the words and eventually pronounce them correctly.

Iguana travels the world telling his parents that he loves them in different languages. Each page has a picture of Iguana in a different country with his parents. The opposing page has the words in the foreign language as well as the pronunciation. The pages have bright colors and playful illustrations.This book is the perfect way to introduce a young child to other languages. It pairs nicely with the other books in the series. The small board book make it easy for smaller hands to hold and turn pages. The font is larger and the illustrations will appeal to the intended age group.
