A great book for budding guitarists to play some Bowie ... as a more experienced guitarist I did find some of the chords "right", but different fingerings made them sound more like the recorded tracks ... I purchased a big ... wide ... bulldog clip ... to keep the book open on the required page ... ... ...

Not a complete Bowie collection but majority of the great songs and more...

Wordery provides a fantastic service and I recommend them for the purchase of high quality books, used or new at reasonable prices. This particular book of David Bowie songs, well deserves ten stars! Hail the greatest of them all!

Put your glasses on if you're at all short-sighted to read this book this clearly, and possibly use a clip to keep the page you want open. Excellent shorthand guide for beginners and better to chords like C9#11 and so on, and to the majority of Bowie's greatest songs.

For the most part it is useful but the print is small. One or two songs need transposing further but generally it is a good guide. I guess you need to remember that Bowie wrote the songs but not the book! And don't expect to sound like Mick Ronson either!

Chords and lyrics reproduced are correct. A pity the book has to have some sort of weight to keep the book open.

For the most part, the songbook is really fun and a good way to (roughly) play along to a lot of Bowie tracks. But some song choices are really strange. Half of the Ziggy Stardust album isn't included while some songs from his later career that either don't or barely feature a guitar or I can't imagine anyone would like to play are in there. Some chords and arrangements are off or just plain wrong and in my humble opinion, the key to All The Young Dudes is wrong. But for the money I'd definitely recommend it. It's good fun.
