A little dry
Purchased for my 16 mo grandson. According to Mom: The bath crayons.. a little dry.. hard to write with, but the purple was the only one seeming to work the best, so we used that one...

Do make sure you stand them up to drain or they start to crumble

Comparison between Edushape and Alex bathtub crayons
Updated review:After buying the Alex "Draw in the Tub Draw In The Tub Crayons (6) " crayons a few times, we wanted to give this one by Edushape a shot. Instead of writing a review of the Edushape version, I thought Ill write a comparison between the two to help other customers pick the one that suits them the best.1. The "Draw in the Tub" crayons come in two versions although the product description doesnt say so. The cheaper one does come with the sponge ducky cleaner while the expensive one does. The crayons in the expensive pack Rub a Dub Draw In The Tub are longer resulting in more crayon write and playtime for the kid. The Edushape crayons are pretty small- about the size of the cheaper Alex version. The ducky sponge cleaner is good to have but once you have one, no point in going for the expensive pack.2. Both crayons come off relatively easily- "relative" being the key word. If its erased soon after bath time, it comes off quickly without leaving a mess. If allowed to stay on, it gets harder to remove- occasionally warranting a bathtub cleaner. The Edushape crayons are a trifle harder to clean if you allow them to stay on for a day compared to the Alex version.3. The biggest grouse I have with the Edushape one is that it crumbles pretty quickly compared to the Alex version. Both sets of crayons are designed for no more than a couple of days of use but when dropped and allowed to stay in a mug of water (yep, my toddler loves doing that), the Edushape crayons disintegrated fairly quickly.4. Both sets of crayons come with 6 colors and they last one to two showers. No more than that. The bigger Alex crayons last for 3-4 days.5. The packaging for both brands is deceptive in that the crayon holder is significantly longer than the crayon itself. The crayon holder is also pretty useless in holding the crayon intact. Not sure whats the real point behind the crappy holder design for both products.6. A minor quibble with the Edushape crayons is that two of the colors- purple and yellow are so light that it requires special lighting to be spotted on a cream/white tub. I wish they chose darker colors instead.Overall, both products are less than satisfactory but given the choices or lack of it in this segment, one gets to choose either of the two and go with it. I wish there was a third brand that truly created better bath crayons for kids. Seeing how much my toddler enjoys it, I would gladly pay more for a better product!Original Review:We used to purchase this product at our local Target stores. They sold the bigger unit with the eraser ducky. That crayon was better built and came for 2-3 bath sessions. Unfortunately Target discontinued the product for whatever reason. I was forced to look for online purchasing options and found it at Amazon. This specific product is inferior to the one that used to be sold at Target for multiple reasons:1. It is smaller and also waxes off pretty quickly. I was lucky to get it through one full bath session.2. It is about the same price as the bigger one.3. Does not include the ducky which while not being the greatest of crayon cleaners, did the job decently. All in all, less for more. I wish they had the other product also for sale on amazon for the original price. Also, there are no viable and meaningful alternatives to consider in this segment. The Crayola ones are round and ungainly for toddlers to handle comfortably.

Poor quality
Does it write on tun yes. However, it does not clean up very well especially the blue and purple. Durability is also very poor. Does not with stand being in water and will start to crumble.

Easy to clean! That’s all that matters
lol it was a stocking stuffer for my 2 year old and she went to town on the bath and even in other areas of the house smh but it comes off easily. So that’s a win

Great fun, bright colors, makes bathtub time easy!
Grand child was resisting a bath. Cried and clung to who ever was in charge of the bath. This can be common with some children. Read many reviews before picking this brand. VERY happy with the product. Bath time has become easy for everyone involved!

Decent quality, toddler approved
These are a hit with my toddler and clean off the tub pretty well. It's not a perfect clean with all colors but works well enough. After multiple uses the crayon part is coming out of the plastic holder which is a bummer. Will likely try another brand next time.

Only half filled
I didn't realize when I bought these that they were half filled and that it is a crayon stuck inside a plastic cartridge. Sometimes the actual crayon falls out. The good news is they are dense and should last a while, the colours are bright and easy to clean. I wouldn't buy them again.

A complete waste of money
This is easily the worst thing I've bought on Amazon. We previously had one of the Cuckoo Alex star shaped crayons which was great, provided loads of entertainment, and lasted a good six weeks. Then tried these as they were separate and thought may be easier to draw with, however 1) Two crayons came out of their holders straight out of the box, the other four broke within 5 minutes of play, 2) the brighter colours hardly wrote on a white bath at all, 3) after one bath the colour was 'leeching' out of the crayons leaving whitening sticks and browning water, and then 4) the sticks began to crumble. So a complete waste of money really.

Not worth it.
You really need to push down hard for the crayons to make a mark on the tub. Also breaks apart in the water and leaves chips behind. Just needs to be rinsed away. Tough to push the product up to get more. I would not buy again.

Keeps him busy in the bath
My 20 month old loves these. He draws on the bath, mirror and himself. The colour washes off quickly and easily IF it's done soon after application. We left it on the mirror one night, and found it quite difficult to get off the next day, even with cleaners - neat bleach did it in the end. We did find that the holders for the crayons are pretty useless, the crayons don't stay in them, but it doesn't really matter.I would recommend this, it's given my son hours of fun in the bath.

not so easy to wash
I let my kids use these freely in the bath thinking it was going to be easy to clean... but it's been several weeks trying all sorts of products, and I still have some stains I can't remove, specially in between the tiles... very disappointing. I had to throw them out.
