Nicely made
I needed something that I could easily store in my car door, and this is compact enough to do so while also being very sturdy. I enjoy having the button open/closure as it’s easier while having to work one handed with kids.

Beautiful looking and works well.
It’s large and keeps the rain away. Great for two people. Good for for being in the rain for a long time. getting into your car you need to close the unbrella first. True to color. Makes a good gift for man or woman.

Semi-automatic "Collapsing" umbrella.
First some statistics and facts:Weighing 15 ounces (with the "cover), it's not the "lightest" umbrella out there (I have one at just 11 ounces).Length is just under 12 inches.Has a 4-inch handle soft-loop (plenty big to get my hand into).Deployed diameter is just at 40 inches (the smallest I have is 34 inches, the biggest is 42 inches in "travel" style)Strong release action but not uncontrolled. Seems to be self-regulating.Now the observations:The splines are good and sturdy, and presumably will be stronger than equivalent unvented umbrellas See Picture. The "Venting" is accomplished by having 2 overlapping sections of cloth (no, it is NOT double, just 4 inches are double covered). So when the wind blows, it will be able to flow out from under the umbrella in the space where my fingers show through, thereby not getting "trapped" in the upturned umbrella. Very similar to the way a tent is vented by having an overlapping section of roof with a small gap between the sections. This venting will keep the umbrella from "popping" upward with a gust of wind, thereby relieving some of the torque of the wind against the splines. NO, I don't think it is "windproof" -- just "gust-proof" at least to a degree. The button that opens the umbrella, is also used to "collapse" the umbrella -- not a thin button somewhere up near the top like many older umbrella -- so it is more user-friendly in that it is easier to find, and easier to press. It does not completely close the umbrella -- you still have to squeeze the umbrella cape section down toward the handle until it "clicks" closed. (You can HEAR the spring re-compressing during this movement, and it is a ratchet-type closure, in that if you push it part way, it stays part way, does not pop back open if you let off the pressure -- so again, more user friendly than many older umbrellas). It DOES come with a cover sleeve, but the sleeve is very tight fitting, with no drawstring, so it is difficult to replace the cover after using the umbrella. It does fit, but I'd like it better if it had a wider opening, and a draw string to pull it tighter once the umbrella is inside. This is the only reason I gave this umbrella 4 stars instead of 5. In actual use, I would probably forego using the cover because it's too difficult to get it on!One last observation: the handle is VERY short. Only by using my bottom 3 fingers on the handle, and then gripping the post with my index finger and thumb was I able to hold the umbrella with any real control. If I held it in my thumb and first two fingers like I normally hold an umbrella, I had no control of it. But with the new grip, the control is great without tiring out my hand muscles. (So it was a learning curve -- I didn't deduct any stars for this).

Awful umbrella
I bought two umbrellas under this brand name. Both had broke. They break easily during a storm and plus they do not open easily. I will never buy from this brand again. It was wasted money.

Sturdy
The umbrella is sturdy and not to bulky.

Jammed on the first try.
This thing was jamming the first time I tried opening it. I don’t want an umbrella that I will have to fumble with so I returned it.Package came pretty busted up.

Great umbrella for travel or regular use!
This is a really nice travel umbrella. I needed one to replace a broken shabby one that I have been using for years now. It is compact but large when opened. I can easily fit this in my hobo hand bag and I carry it with me most days (especially in the summer when we tend to get a lot of afternoon storms. Opens with a quick push of a button and folds back to size in a breeze. I got the maroon colored umbrella and it is super cute and super well made. This should last me for years. Highly recommend!
