Comfortable fabric and good quality

I have a full ugly-sweater-type suit and have been looking to add to it over the years. I spotted this vest and chose a color that would work well with the suit and I LOVE it.The material is nice enough to be comfortable and breathable without feeling cheap and tacky. The draw-cord in the back was a bit of a must for me to set a slim-looking fit out of the medium. I'm 195lbs and 6ft and the medium fit well.The best part about a vest is that you can apply it to any formal attire and it'll give a little holiday cheer.I liked the tie and appreciated that it was a clip-on so it can keep its shape as the years go by. My only gripe is that the tie isn't exactly the same color or material as the vest, but it's close enough!Overall, nice vest at a decent price if you're looking to spice up your next formal holiday gathering!

My DD got to be the embodiment of Christmas Magic in this years somewhat local production of a Nutcracker performance as told by the elves of the North Pole. Her partner needed something just a little bit more magical than a poet shirt and when we found this vest, we knew we had found the magic. It was perfect because the pockets are actual pockets and he was able to shove a LOT of magical snow (glitter) into them and fling it about on stage. My DD had to sew pockets onto her tutu in order to be so lucky. Between the two of them, there was enough glitter snow to bring the dolls back to life, heal the poisoned elves, and redeem the Grinch.The vest is decently made, especially for the price point, and the print is bold and vibrant. One of the best things about this vest is the fact that the print goes all of the way around - it is not just printed on the front with a solid colored back. The trees are everywhere - AWESOME! The bowtie is adjustable and is made of the same material, which makes this set perfect for Christmas. If you're looking for a Christmas vest and tie to wear for a less formal Christmas party, this is fantastic.

I didn't have one festive article of clothing to wear, not even a red or green sweater. So I ordered the vest thinking I could get 3-4 uses out of it this season. Unfortunately, the 2X size wouldn't cover my 'bowlful of jelly' and I wound up giving it to my 6'4" 16 y.o. grandson who wore it with pride. It fit him perfectly and he strutted around (bow tie and all) and I know he'll put it to further use next season. It's actually pretty well constructed and I'm just sorry that I didn't go with the 3X (or maybe I should cut down on the egg nog). Maybe I'll get it back from him next year.
