I'm not a fan of flashing/blinking lights nor walking into a dark room. These are soft enough to give me that gentle light for a dark room without having to leave another light on.They'll probably be moved so I'm not walking through them but I wanted to see what they looked like. I think I like them :)You have several options for light effects, you don't have to use "steady on". I ended using the control on the USB as the remote it came with has a dead battery.
