Tires CSTP MEGATANE 26x4.0 BK/BK SC

I did get 2400 miles until I decided to replace them. I kept the front for a spare, still lots of tread. The width measures 3 3/4" and max psi is 30. Low rolling resistance and fairly quiet. White letters on one side. I did have a few flats with this tire.

This tire is significantly shorter, narrower and thinner in the sidewall and tread than both my stock tires and the last tire replacement. Quality seems okay but I am definitely concerned about the durability and having less float since it is so much narrower than any tires I have purchased up to now.

Avg cost fat tires. Only been a few days installed but noticeably not as road gripping as my last Kendra Juggernaut tires. Time will tell

Tires didn’t match the description they came in 26 4.8 than 26 4.0 which is the size I needed.The tread and tire lettering didn’t match the picture at all but all in all didn’t complain they fit and look great for 25 bucks.

I live in Florida where steep mountainous terrain does not exist. So, most off-road biking is light trail to sandy beaches. These tires handle all that providing appropriate tire pressure is used. These do exceptionally well at urban riding. These are the same tires, different branding, that come on the Giant Momentum fat bikes. Super affordable as far as bike tires go...

This is a great rolling tire for gravel roads & trails.Also has pretty good float with reduced pressure.Not super heavy, but not really lightweight either.The big white letters are over the top. But that is a personal preference.
