Used to turn on a hydrant water supply, the key and bar assembly fits the standard outlet size for underground valves that meet BS 750. The upright section is known as the key and this is 1024mm long. The bar is slotted at one end to be used to prise open the hydrant cover and, cleverly, fits inside the bar section when not in use. These is also a budget priced steel T-bar version.
