Worthy Product !
I am writing this review after a good 2 years of using this product. I had bought this in the Amazon sale. Initially I was skeptical about its quality but after an extensive online research I took a chance of buying it.The packing was compact and germane. The products overall look was great.Pairs with your device easily.Sound quality is very good. Especially inside a room. The wattage of the speakers are shortfall for playing it out in the open evening full volume. Range without any obstruction is good. The product is very rugged and water proof (that lately doesn't mean that we can use it in the rains ) It's mostly covered around by rubber, that protects the speaker from damage when fallen.Battery life is also good even at high volumes. There's bluetooth connection and Aux cable provision.Excellent product for that price.Possible improvement : Higher speaker wattage to play outdoors.

Sound is really better than expected
We purchased two speakers, one for granddaughter and one for ourselves. This review is based on 1 month of usage between both devices.Pros: Sound is really better than expected. Has nice bass tone, but not too much. Extremely loud, perfect for our usage. Do not compare this to a (Boom Box). This speaker connected through Bluetooth right out of the box to phones, laptops and tablets. Very impressed with that convenience. We like the feature of being able to reply to phone calls while listening to music and granddaughter (really likes the option of answering text as well). We all tested the waterproof option and the results were as described by mfg, it is waterproof. The weight is not bad and it has a rubber protective surface and the look and feel is easy on the eye as well.Cons: The only complaint (From granddaughter is the hand strap needs to be bigger, to carry speaker). That's it.Would I buy this again? In a SoundPeats moment.

Excellent value for money 'outdoor' speaker with an above average sound quality
Good product for people in a budget. I wanted something I can carry with me on bike rides and not having to worry about it being exposed to the elements. For the most part, it holds up fine.No tech is perfect. And neither it this.I got it for 1500rs. People claim to have got it as low as 1200rs. There are a lot of choices in this price bracket and honestly - its hard to choose. The up side is - its not an expensive mistake.I have owned the Bose Mini-II. Ofcourse that sounds like a million dollars. Compared to the ivy league speakers - this one punches above its weight & is well worth its price tag.If its kept at a moderate volume - the vocals & mids are clear. Instruments sound crisp. There is a passive woofer / diaphragm at the back but that isn't something to write home about. It makes its presence felt every once in a while. The battery life is fantastic & expect to get 8-10hrs of playback at moderate volumes easily. I know some would say that 8-10 isn't good enough. But honestly - lets be realistic. You can't pay less & expect to have the best experience. Now for what this product is best for - the outdoors. It is very much VFM. Drenches in rain, dropped once & never used a case when kept in my backpack. Its holds it own and never gave up. Just remember not to get too excited & submerge it into water.

Happy with the SoundPEATS P2 thus far
So far so good! If you notice, almost every single review below is by someone who received this Bluetooth speaker for free. I paid for this speaker and so far it's worked very well. I should also mention that I have only used this speaker for a few days and only time will tell if it will hold up.I have also purchased the DK Magicbox 2 and Logitech mini boombox. In comparison, I would say the volume is just as high as both of the other bluetooth speakers I have owned previously. It is also pretty clear for a little bluetooth speaker, as well. The bass is also pretty decent, but I'm not as impressed as all the other reviewers are.The one issue with the DK Magicbox was that if the battery was dying and you plugged it into charge, it would not charge fast enough before it would die on you. You can plug your phone or whatever device you were using, but that defeats the purpose of a wireless bluetooth device. So far, I have taken the SountPEATS P2 out of the box and not charged it once and have used it for roughly 2 hours. I suspect that once i fully charge the speaker, it will last the 8-10hours as advertised. The P2 also has the same capability where you can plug your device in and still listen to music if the speaker is not charged. The range on the SoundPeats P2 is GREAT! I had the P2 on the 2nd floor in my bedroom and went all the way down to my basement and it was still as clear as it was when I was in close proximity to it.I have not tested it in water or the shock absorption, but the are other reviews on here that have tested it and appears to work well. This feature was just a bonus for me, as I had my Logitech mini boombox for almost 5 years and never had an issue getting it wet or dropping it.The overall construction of the speaker seems very solid as well, which others have noted in their reviews. I like that it has a rubberized finish around the whole speaker and the speaker grate is very strong and does not appear it would be damaged from you dropping it.

Well constructed speaker.
This is the best outdoor bluetooth speaker you can buy for Rs 1490. The sound is good with good amount of bass and never sounds harsh. The quality fit and finish and ruggesdized construction is what sets it far apart from similar looking speakers by other manufacturers. It has bluetooth 4.1 and the range is good. It has ip65 rating and the implementation is very good. It says output is 5 watts. The only con is that you may have issues with after sales service but considering the battery is 2000 mah and the design is simple you may never face such issues. The logitech x300 sounds slightly better and louder but that does not have ip65 rating, costs double the amount and does not feel so good to hold.Although the P2 is more rugged and has better materials, I would suggest you to go for the Boatstone 200 as that is better designed overall. I am speaking from a highly technical perpective if you go in depth into the overall design. Its like the difference between a German and Chinese design where the Chinese design gives more for less but the German design is superior but you get slightly less bang for the buck.
