Devastatingly Dark & Beautiful
ova: Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶🌶“For the broken ones who are in need of something dark, morbid, and beautiful.”If you haven’t read this book yet, or your trying to decide if you want to read it at all...move it up your list. Now. Always check your trigger warnings first, there are some really heavy topics that are romanticized throughout the book. Here are my thoughts. “Instinct tells me he’s dangerous-but I cannot pull away from him. He’s gravity itself. I was caught in his orbit the moment I laid eyes on him at the hospital.” Five stars isn’t enough. This book deserves so much more. “You’ve wilted enough for the world. Don’t you think?” This is probably one of the best books I have ever read. I was immediately stuck on her style of writing. Everything was written beautifully, almost poetic. I wasn’t even all the way done with the book and went and bought not one, but two special signed editions with absolutely no regrets. Needless to say, I am absolutely obsessed. If there was one word to accurately describe this book it would be Beautiful. Devastatingly so. “The fabric of our souls is thin and worn. We must be gentle and love tirelessly.” The characters had my heart from the very beginning. Every single one of them. Usually there is always a quirk or flaw to a main character that irritates the crap out of me. Not here. Not this one. Liam, Lanston, Wynn. To d** for, almost literally. The way this book feels is almost like a dark, and I mean DARK, romance book and a thriller/suspense book had a baby. There are some twists and turns that I couldn’t see coming from a mile away. I wanted to know what was going to happen but I also felt where the story was going to take me and I didn’t want to think that far ahead. Coming to the end, what I thought was going to happen was so far from what actually happened. I think most of me being wrong was because my brain and my heart were constantly fighting between the inevitable. If you want to feel raw, unfiltered emotion this is the book you want to get your hands on. I’m not an emotional reader and this had me feeling everything I could possibly feel. I was sad, in love, giddy, annoyed....devastated.. This book really gave everything it had to give. Unapologetically. “The fabric of our souls is thin-we’ve been wandering this world just to unite in this small corner of the universe.

Tore The Fabric of My Soul
Well written, intriguing, captivating, heart wrenching, deep, with an alluring romantic relationship formed between two people who didn’t know they needed each other and a best friend who gave them his all.Incredibly relatable characters and the illnesses were portrayed very well. For someone who has suffered with mental illness for years I can honestly say this story dug deep into my own heart.Though everything was pretty fast paced, I kept in mind that it’s not uncommon for bonds to form quickly in situations like those portrayed here so keeping that in mind made it all more understandable. The institute itself seems more like a hotel for the mentally unwell; it was so different than any other story I’ve read which was refreshing as well as odd for me (but alas, this is a fictional piece of work). The author formed a pretty decent understanding of the characters given the length of the novel however, I would have LOVED to have a longer story that delved deeper into all three of the MCs minds and their history. They’re all such complex characters but we only got to the surface of their traumas. I want a deeper understanding of the characters ans their bonds. All in all, I would recommend this, especially to those who have themselves suffered and struggled mentally (keeping TW’ings in mind obviously).Ps. Yes there is some good spice in here too.

Tragic. Haunting. Beautiful
The story follows Wynn and Liam as they try to come to terms with their past and the scars left on their souls. The story is immediately gripping due to it's unique start and unusual setting, something which only adds to the allure. The book is beautifully written and it can/will provoke emotion. I smiled and I cried, oh how I cried...There is some 🌶️ but it's far from the main focus of the story.Due to the dark nature of the book it might not be for everyone so please check TWs before diving in.

My new favorite book
The Fabric of Our Souls by K.M. Moronova is my new obsession and this story spoke to my soul in so many ways. Wynn and Liam‘s story is just a masterpiece and one of my new all-time favorite books. Wynn and Liam are very opposite, mainly in the way that Wynn wants to die, and Liam wants to desperately live and feel something. They meet in a hospital after both are at a very low point in their lives and they later become roommates in the Harlow Sanctum center. This is a very unorthodox and unusual place for rehabilitation and that’s exactly why it works for many. This story deals with a lot of aspects of life and health and especially mental health on such a deep level and it made me feel everything. The book shows you the darkest days of these characters while also illustrating happy moments and it made me connect with Wynn and Liam even more on every page. There are spicy moments, there is a murder mystery that the characters try to solve that connects to them in a heartbreaking way and I especially was living for all the moments and glimpses where they experience true happiness like with Lanston who by the way is such an important part in this story and I love him as well. In addition, the writing style is so atmospheric and truly mesmerizing that I can’t wait to devour everything by this author.5+ stars.

Nice
I liked the book and I liked the way it's written but I think I was expecting something more, there was something it missed. Maybe I felt it was a bit rushed or that the characters had too little time. I expected it to be more deep... I wanted more complications, maybe to use Wynn's heart condition... I wanted more drama 😂But it was a good read, a good idea for a story. I recommend it if you want a romance with some mistery.
