Seems like it would fit almost any physique. But since you’re supposed to wear it under something else, it probably won’t matter if it’s too large. I bought this for a Celtic festival but ended upwearing something else. But I’m keeping it, because it seems versatile and looks like something that would work easily for a costume in the future.

So I bought this shirt in 2 colors...purple and green. They should have been the same size, and were labeled the same size on the packaging. However the green shirt\t was larger than the other (both small), and was of a slightly stiffer cotton fabric. Even under a corset the extra material was obvious, and it kind of overwhelms my top half. If I keep it, it will need some DIY to size down the arm material and make it more manageable.The color is nice, as pictured. I got the green for this shirt, and its a nice hunter green color. I love the sleeves, and the neckline is adjustable when you wear it under a corset...you can pull it down to nicely frame the bodice area. My biggest problems are the difference in size and quality of fabric as compared to the other, and I think it shows a bit in the photos. I'm hoping that when it gets washed it will soften up some and become more airy like the other shirt.The purple shirt is my favorite. It is soft, airy, flowy and fits very nicely under a corset. The color is perfect. I think all the shirts look best pulled down off the shoulders. But even if worn on the shoulders, it is easy to pull them down under the corset to frame the bodice area. I am definitely looking forward to wearing these for Ren Fest when things open back up. These are a GREAT buy overall....a similar shirt sells for $60 on etsy, and these are only $20. My only wish is that they came in more colors.

I love that this is actually COTTON! I wanted this for Renaissance Festival in Colorado, that is usually very warm/hot, and rayon just doesn’t breathe. I was shocked at how hard it is to find a shirt like this in cotton or linen. I wold search for cotton renaissance shirt, and most listings are still rayon. I almost passed out 3 years ago, wearing a light weight rayon renaissance shift with flowing sleeves and a matching sleeveless over dress. So rayon renaissance costumes are out for me! I typically wear a large and I’m 5’8” 160 Lbs 40” bust, and the OS is very large. I think I could easily get 2 of me in it. The elastic in the sleeves doesn’t even touch my arms, and it is very thin material. However, I’m going to wear an over bust corset over this, with a long skirt, so I think it will work.I’ve decided I’m going to order the small and will report back on whether or not it fits better.So far, this was a great find!

The one size was a bit too big, I dressed for the Renaissance Faire. Could make do.

I typically wear an XL/size 14 and I was pleasantly surprised by this "one size" item. This fit me a little loose and will be perfect for Renaissance costumes. The fabric is light and 100% cotton which is pretty hard to find online. The sleeves are very cute and the neckline can be pulled up or down around the shoulders so it is very versatile.

Fabric seems thinner than it should be, didn't like the elastic around the collar, felt a bit cheap. It did what I needed it for, but ultimately returned it for a different shirt

The shirt is well made and comfortable. I got it for a costume but wear it for everyday wear also.

I expected this chemise to be loosely-fitted. I'm size 13/14 and ordered the standard fit, and it was so voluminous that it made the pieces I wanted to wear on top of it look large and bulky. I got it for the draped sleeves but there's just too much fabric overall and it's really unflattering. I returned it since I couldn't make it work.

This was fabulous and although bought as part of a costume i would defiantly wear it again it was great. For the money it was fab!
