Sow all seeds in Spring. Sow on the surface, cover lightly 1mm with a fine layer of sand or vermiculite. Water in with a fine mist spray: A hand-held atomiser spray. Sow the seeds in a small tray or in small pots. Seedlings may be pricked out once they are an inch or so tall. I use a combination of horticultural charcoal 10%, sharp sand 20%, perlite 30%, vermiculite 40% All of these are available in any other horticultural produce store. Keep the tray/pots moist, in a warm position in filtered sunlight. You may choose to use a large see-through plastic container. A storage container with a large lid is ideal. This container will create a warm humid environment. Once seedlings emerge, the pots may be removed or the lid taken off so the seedlings can adjust.
