Good but not their best
Bear with me - I’m a huge fan of Piper Rayne and this is the first book I’ve given a 3-star rating.I liked Marcus and Cat. I thought Lily was cute and realistic as a five year-old. I just didn’t buy their story. It was tougher than so many others. (Liam and Sav is the only other one that gets a 3.5 and I wanted them to be together so badly after seeing them be around each other amidst the other Bailey fam!)Anyway. The Single Dad’s Club only gets better, so if you’re like me and thought “meh, it was ok” hang in their. Trust me, Dane and Garrett are *totally* worth it. Marcus was just a little....white bread. But not so much that I would tell you to skip it. Because they’re still cute. And their cameos in the other two make them seem a bit more pizzazy.

The Single Dads Club
Marcus is the first member of the club that we meet in this book. He’s bringing up his daughter alone after her mother abandoned them.He falls for his daughters camp counsellor who is 10 years younger, but he has a hard time allowing her into his family dynamic owing to his previous relationship with his ex.I liked all the characters in this story. Marcus’ daughter Lily is a little spitfire, but charming all the same. Caterina, the camp counsellor, is more mature than Marcus gives her credit for and forced him to rethink the way he’s protecting Lily from her mother.Marcus’ two closest friends, Dane and Garrett, are great supporting characters and will get their own stories in this series. I have my own theories on the histories and can’t wait to read them to see if I’m right!

Contemporary romance
Real Deal is a contemporary romance.Marcus is a single Dad to five-year-old Lily. When he drops her off at summer camp he sees Cat, a girl who threw herself at him six years ago. All grown-up, she now has curves that call to Marcus.Cat's not sure how to treat Marcus; with an adorable daughter, he can still make her weak at the knees. At the end of summer she has plans that will take her to New York; before then there's a mix of anger and sexual chemistry that need releasing .This is a hot romance, it has a couple of weaker plot-lines, but overall it delivered what I expected from this genre.

Brilliant start to the series
This book was the perfect introduction to Piper Rayne's new series. Reading the book in a dual POV was a really nice touch for this book as we didn't get that in their last series and I think that seeing both POV's was just what this book needed!I didn't expect Marcus to be a full on as he was, he really knew what he wanted and he wasn't taking no for an answer and his past relationship with Lily's mom had his guard (totally get why) but when he bumps into Caterina and he is thrown back 6 years to their last meeting you can see why he reacts the way he does! This book was a Fantastic introduction to the single dads club and I really can't wait to see which single dad we get next!If you are new to Piper Rayne I would recommend reading their modern love series first as characters from that series do pop up in this book, you don't need to have read them to enjoy this book but those 3 books were so good you really should give them a go!

Sweet start
Marcus is a single dad to 6 year old Lily and she comes first in his life, but on Lily's first day at camp Marcus bumps into a blast from the past, Caterina.6 years have past and now there are new stumbling points to starting something between the two, but is the attraction and chemistry is too much temptation. Cat may be Lily's counsellor at camp so will this deter both her and Marcus from starting anything or will they give into each other and see what might be.This was lighthearted read and set up perfectly for meeting the rest of the members of the Single Dads Club.

Second and third chance
Marcus had no idea the the Caterina he so shamelessly embarrassed six years ago would become the one woman he couldn't keep his hands off. I think he got off to easy. He didn't have to gravel too much to get back in her good grace because he fess up and apologise for hurting her, it also helped that she had the hots for him in spite of the hurt and the years the pass. She was definitely no jailbait but a bombshells instead. A fantastic story. I enjoyed it.

Unexpected surprises
Having never read a book by this author I was greatly surprised at how great a read this is. Marcus and Caterina are great together despite the 10 year age difference as well as the fact that he has a 5 year old daughter. I was definitely rooting for them from the beginning of the book. Can't wait to read the rest of this series.

A good single dad story
Marcus was a dedicated father to his daughter, Lily. He met Caterina six years before and cruelly dismissed her attempt to seduce him. Caterina reappears as an assistant at his daughter's summer camp. Marcus refuses to discuss Lily's mother, not even with Lily. Caterina becomes a part of their lives but Marcus needs to let the past go before they can have a future.
