I couldn’t put these books down! As a nurse, I understand and appreciate every obstacle Dr. Mathur went through. I also live in rural Texas and not being a native, know the feeling of being an “outsider”. I am wishing for more books!

This book takes you on a journey of a medical doctor’s struggles and successes after joining a small rural Texas hospital to begin his medical practice. This book is wonderful!

Enjoyed this very readable and enjoyable book with interesting local characters and a doctor trying to do his best for his patients and family. It was easy to read and hard to put down as new medical situations arose needing the diagnosis and treatment of this clever doctor.
