Ideal for Surf Fishing
The 3-Way Swivel is essential to set up a 3-Way Rig. For surf fishing I tie a drop weight to one of the three eyes to keep the live bait stable on the bottom with the waves and current. I tie the second eye to the main line and the third line I connect to a leader that holds the hook and live bait. The rig is great for beach fishing as I can walk out in the water, cast out the line and release the bail when I walk back out of the water and set the pole in a stand. The weight should be heavy enough to hold the bait out in the water at the depth of the cast--- than wait for your strike. Using the e-way swivel makes set up easy and the swivel keeps the line from twisting so the bait looks more natural in the water. These were a good price and I really liked the plastic box it included for easy access and storage.
