Estanbul spices are always good quality and this is no different. Generous sized bottle of Cardamom pods. So many things you can do with them either in or out of the pods. Very aromatic and flavorful.

I am pleased with the pungent, spicy, menthol-ish "Eastanbul Green Cardamom Pods Whole 4.4oz%100 Natural Mesopotamia Cardamon, Freshly Picked ...". I mostly use them for teas, meat seasonings and in rice dishes. I grind them in an electric coffee grinder that is dedicated for just herbs & spices. They have a variety of potential health benefits as well as adding some flair to food. Similar to the strong tasting fennel, chewing one of the pods can help to freshen your breath. They smell wonderful and are in a clear, square plastic spice jar with a spoon and shaker holes on the top. The pods are much to large to use the shaker holes unless you ground them all at once. I prefer to grind and release the aroma & flavor as I use them. My bottle & pods weigh in at 5.65 oz. The batch number on the bottle is 082023 and the best before date is 08.20.2025. Of course, I use this type of product past the best by date (they just won't be as fresh tasting). One of the reasons I appreciate the whole pods (over pre-ground) is that they will retain their flavor longer. Origin: Guatemala

The real deal and great to put into everything. We add it to drinks, tea, and when cooking food. Didn't realize what I was missing without adding this especially to teas.

These cardamom pods are smaller than the ones I have usually encountered in Indian cooking but they smell good so I think they will be just fine. Very strong spice

These cardamom pods are dry like they should be. They can be used whole or break them open to get to the really tasty cardamom spice. Can be added to lots of recipes and they're good for you!

The pods have a wonderful, strong aroma. I love using them in teas and curries. These have a very strong, vibrant flavor and a little goes a long way. I am grinding the seeds inside for use, and they are some of the most flavorful seeds I've used. I'm very happy with this selection. It's a great value for quality Cardamom.

These pods are super fragrant and can be smelled as soon as you break the seal on top. For those who’ve never had cardamom pods before, like me, they have a sweet and citrusy sort of smell and flavor. They can be cooked with the pods on, however biting into one might not be everyone’s idea of a good time. The pods are relatively fresh and were packaged around 5 months prior.

Great green cardamom pods. They have a sweeter and milder taste to them. Love adding a couple of pods when making curries or basmati rice. Whatever shell doesn't dissolve into the dish, I just fish them out. Gives the curry a nice flavor.
