Perfectly Practical
I don't like tying laces each time I step out, so I usually keep my shoes laced loosely. The downside is I have to figure out a way to hide and tuck laces, which can be uncomfortable or weird-looking. Enter silicone 'laces'... and so much ease! These fit great on my W7-sized Vans and keep the shoe securely on my feet. The 'laces' have a little texture to make them look more like real laces, but they still look different and may not be the right style for every shoe. It works fine for these low-top shoes that I want to slip in and out of quickly. I wouldn't use them on high tops, but they stretch so maybe they'd work fine with larger size hooks. One small downside is that they're tough to undo. I messed up a size and had to use a nail to help me poke it back out of the hole. Overall they're great and I'll probably get a few more.

Great for Kids that Hate Tying Their Shoes
I ordered these for my 11 year old daughter that constantly walks around with untied shoe laces (she knows HOW to tie them...just too lazy to do it). I put them on her New Balance sneakers, using six of the eight that came in the pack. She has a wide foot so I used the largest of the six...I like that there are extras. Putting them on her shoes was a bit of a job. Pro tip: Get a pair of needle nose pliers to push the ends through the holes. Once you've got about half of the end through the hole, go to the other side and pull the rest through. Make sure you grab the thicker part of the end or you'll break/rip off the smaller part of the rubber tip. If you do happen to break it off, it'll probably be fine as long as your lace holes aren't too big. I did this to two of them (toward the end, I got tired and wasn't paying attention), but they're holding really well so far.Other than that, they're great. She is able to put her shoes on without fuss and how her shoes are actually providing some sort of support for her wide feet.

Cute but hard it install
I got these thinking that it would make putting shoes on easier. But other than not having to tie them it didn't really make anything easier. They're really bulky underneath and I just cannot get over the feeling of them. They were also extremely hard to install. I ended up a ripping three of them.

Great shoelace alternative
I like these a lot. They're more convenient than laces for the leather boots I have them in and I like the look of them too. They don't last forever but I usually get several months out of them.

Exactly what I was looking for.
These work well in my sneakers. The only thing is to make sure your eyelets aren't too small. Once you have them installed they work well to convert your sneakers to no tie.

Better than regular shoelaces.
I love these laces. Easy to install. Better than regular laces. They do their job and pull the sides tightly together. IMO, they do not affect the fit of the shoe, if anything, it makes them better.I’ve slowly been replacing regular laces with these type of laces, one because I don’t have to worry about shoelaces coming undone, and there are lots of cool colors to choose from with these type of laces.

The do not fit the eyelets
They are a great idea and I was looking forward to having them on my old school Adidas. However, I was unable to get them through the eyelets. So, if you do not have a larger hole for them to go through, they will not work.

Works to create a no-lace style
I've used other no-lace silicone laces before and these are better in some ways and not as good in others. I think preference depends on how you want your laces to look.On the plus side:These have a slight pattern embossed on them which makes them look a little more like regular shoe laces. On the negative side:You can only use these in a straight across pattern, even though the typical X pattern is shown as an option on the card they come on. You can't actually use them in that way because: 1. you only have enough laces for the across style, and, 2. they are graduated sizes (smallest at the bottom and largest at the top of the shoe) so there is no great way to do this. You might be able to do it if you purchased two sets of laces, but they are expensive and at that point you would probably be better off just getting regular shoe laces.Neutral:They are a little challenging to get through the holes. I think if you had a metal grommet it would go through more easily, but my classic Adidas court sneaks have fairly small holes that are just about the size of a reinforced lace end.Overall I feel like they are a little expensive for what they are, but I think they would be really helpful for someone that has trouble with laces, tying shoes, etc. and needs a slip-on option that has some give and flexibility when they are walking.
