The earrings themselves were beautiful. The main earring is a nice size; it’s large enough to be easily visible and small enough to avoid being obnoxious. The jacket piece that threads onto the post back makes the second gemstone sit just below the edge of the earlobe. There are two holes in the jacket piece that allows you to choose how low you want the gem to dangle - I assume this is to accommodate earlobes of different sizes. I have a sensitivity to nickel, and these earrings did not bother me at all so they are nickel free. The main down side to this product is the earring backs. They don’t fit very tightly, and sadly, one of them fell off so I lost one of the jackets before I noticed that it was gone. If you purchase these earrings, I would recommend substituting earring backs that fit the posts more tightly to avoid losing the jewelry.
