A first I thought the filter was too large. Kept them until original ones from manufacturer Aircare came. Same size and apparent quality. You have to push the height dow to fit properly in both.

These filters fit my AirCare humidifier perfectly. I was nervous buying a third party brand, but these are just as good, if not even better, than the original filter. I was also worried that these would be flimsy and not last too long, but to my surprise they were very durable and seem to be holding up quite well. I'm very happy with this filter and will be purchasing these rather than the brand name filters. I'm glad I fond these!

Just like OEM at a better price. Locally the price of thesestart at $25.99 each. At the time of review these were twofor $39.99. I have an open hearth fireplace that can reallydry out the air but, these keep up with it pretty good. Andwith the price difference, it a real no brainer. Although theycan be a little of a tight fit.

We have been using a very large, evaporative humidifier to help combat the dryness in our house each winter for easily the last 15 years, and don't know what we'd do without it. The darn thing is reliable and it just keeps going. Only thing we have to do is replace the wicking filter media every so often. This year was one of those times, so armed with only a number (1043) and having no clue whose humidifier it is, we landed here on the product page for these nice 2-packs sold by Carmerny. The price is right because they last so long. We had no issues swapping it in, and it looks identical to the one we removed. So, if you're looking for a 1043 filter for your evaporative humidifier and are equally clueless, the good news is you've come to the right place. The best part for us is we have a second piece so we're going to be set for the next two years. Woot.

Works really well. Every few weeks I have to take these out, dry them, soak in vinegar (you can literally hear the minerals fizzing and dissolving), rinse it, dry it, put it back in.It's nice to have 2 to swap out.I've tried other non-oem wicks that had aluminum in them or were a thinner paper that did not work. These are nice thick paper and seem to work as well as the OEM version. I'm not going to perform any experiments to see which lasts longer because I'm unwilling to pay OEM price.

I have no reason not to give this 5 stars though I can't comment on longevity, and that's my biggest issue with these filters. In general they seem to last no more than two months after nightly runs overnight before they get smelly and mushy. So I've gone through a lot of these 1043 filters from various sellers in my Essick Air humidifier and am just looking for the lowest price filter that lasts the longest. This isn't the lowest price as it's the same price as the leading brand. So we'll see how long these two last and if they last longer then the price is justified, otherwise you can find these for cheaper.

These replacement filters work great in my Essick Air AirCare humidifier. We use our humidifer during bedtime and these filters last us several months, although we tend to stretch them even further. Even so, they continue to work great. They are well made and easy to change.

We got these to replace the filters in our Essick humidifier that runs 24/7 in the winter in our home. These fit very well as they should and do a great job or a 6-8 weeks. I would recommend these for sure.
