This is an absolutely amazing winter coat for my Shih Tzu. I purchased a small for her. The quality and is constriction is bar none. The exterior material is water resistant. The material at the neck can be folded over, like a turtleneck, or remain as is. The fleece lining at the neck, is wonderful. The snow suit will keep her neck, chest, abdomen and legs very warm. Due to its outstanding construction, there is zero concern that the jacket would become soiled when she is going potty. It is so puffy and covers so much of her body that when I first put it on her, she literally stood still not knowing what to do. It kind of reminded me of the movie, “A Christmas Story,” when Ralphie’s brother had so many snow clothes on that when he fell down, he couldn’t get back up without help.The only problem is that the openings for the legs are too wide. Therefore, she steps out of the back legs when walking. This is such an incredible coat for very cold days and the quality of the material and workmanship is so exceptional that I am taking my dog and her new snow suit to the tailor to address this issue. I have never seen any type of dog clothing of this quality. It is well worth the price. I know I will probably spend the same amount, if I’m lucky, having it tailored, but it is that great of a product that I am willing to do so.

The media could not be loaded.  This coat fits perfectly and looks great! I love the harness piece on the top. My dog is about 18 pounds and it fits her perfectly. Its very warm and fuzzy on the inside and the outside material feels like it's good quality and durable. My dog is old and doesn't pull at all so the harness part is perfect for her. If your dog pulls a lot I wouldn't recommend using it as the main method of walking them.Where we are temperatures can get down to -18 F in the winter and we can get a good 2 or 3 feet of snow. I'll be pairing it with the suspender boots from Canada pooch to keep her cozy and hopefully keep the snow out!

I’ve been in search of a warm long sleeve coat for my 47lb pitbull for the past 10 years, even going as far as getting a $300 custom made jacket from Etsy that didn’t end up working out for her. I will say that this coat is the best “bang for your buck” out of the ones I’ve had for her. I ordered a large and an extra large to see what one would fit better, the XL fit her very nicely while the large fit my friends 25ish pound beagle so there’s definitely a big discrepancy between sizes. The one thing I wish could be a possibility with any coat is male and female anatomy being taken into mind. My dog is completely bald on her tummy and because no coat I’ve found has been made to accommodate girl dogs, the belly is always exposed. That is the case with this one as well but it seemed to keep her comfortable and warm in the 33 degree weather. It also held up with her running through the woods where sticks and branches could snag/rip the coat. I don’t trust the added attachment for a leash only because my dog is a puller so I have a collar on her if she needed to be leashed. I’m sure it would work for a dog that doesn’t pull excessively. Over all a good product and I would recommend anyone to purchase if their pup gets chilly in the elements.
