I can no longer deal with the contortions necessary for a hook and eye closure. Wearing no undergarment limits your wearable blouses.I did not realize that there was such a thing as strapless Bandeau bras. Intuitively, since i normally take a 2X in most things, since this comes from China and I have found Chinese imports run super small, I ordered a 4X. I was sure I would have to return it, but when I put it on, it fit like a dream. It was so comfy. The elastic type material it is made from is Barry strong and substantial and envelopes the torso with great strength yet comfort. It also comes with 2 sets of removable straps, both clear and also in the color of the garment itself. I do not anticipate ever using either set of straps since this item holds itself in place with no sagging, no slipping, and best of all, ABSOLUTELY NO UNEVEN PRESSURE NOR CUTTING. SOMEHOW, THIS THING DISTRIBUTES EVEN PRESSURE ON THE ENTIRE TORSO SO THAT YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW YOU’RE WEARING IT BY IT. Buy One in size considerably larger than you really take in US sizes, try it on, and then, if you selected the right size, order yourself some more colors. The key is getting the right size. Once you do that you will be Amazed at the comfort.

I am 5'6" and 288lbs. My bust is 49" and band is 46". I used the shapermint website to calculate their recommended size which was a 3x, 46C. That's what I am wearing. They didnt have very many colors in that size so this is the beige. This doesn't support armpit fat so that's my one dislike. It doesn't have a wire or clasps in the back so you do have to pull it overhead- which I actually like more. I've tried so many amazon bras and this is my favorite, I'm returning the rest other than my other shapermint. It does come with clear and beige straps that you can attach in any pattern you would like. It doesn't have the support of a wired bra but it is comfortable and more supportive than other bandeu bras. It does have a grippy strip along the top of the bra to hold it up which works great. I wish it gave my breasts more lift or shape but I am happy with what I got. I also wish they made it with a v shape so I can wear v cut tanks and shirts with it.

I hate bras, full stop. However, some tops need some lift, so they are necessary. Enter: Shapermint! This bra is amazing and crazy comfy while also keeping the girls from the ground. They hold up well, are smooth in all my bumpy parts and it holds up!!! The convertible straps are awesome, but going strapless doesn’t hurt either. And for less than $40, it was a dream. Plus size anything wants an arm and a leg, but not this. As far as sizing everyone is different but if my body reminds you of yourself I strictly went off the chart. I’m a 44D, so I got a 3X and everything is in and nothing is falling out. It’s the fit every girl dreams of. And I’ve had this bra since April so this is not a “I just got it review” so much so, I think there might have been cups in there, but I don’t like cups either, which means in this picture you cannot see the girls poking from the thickness of just the bra. & I have piercings so most times you can totally see at least the balls. Anyway, is this bra worth it?? Yes! So much so I bought the sweetheart bra in June and have yet to give a review because I just realized I don’t have any pics to go with it. If you’re tired of turning your bra around your whole body, flexing unused muscles to get to your back, or plan old traditional bras, save yourself the hassle and get you one of these.

I perhaps expected too much from this bandeau bra. I'm a 30F (UK) in wired bras, so per the sizing chart provided in this listing, I ordered a size Medium. My hope was that it would give me enough strapless support that I could get by without wires. This...was not to be, but again, perhaps I was hoping for something that was impossible given my size. My breasts sag a lot (thanks, massive weight loss!) and this bra just wasn't up to the job. My whole bustline just...folded over and down. Was it better than no bra at all? Yeah. Was it a look I could ever leave the house in? Nope. Way too droopy. I feel a bit bad giving this only 3 stars, because it does appear to be well-made and I suspect those with smaller or perkier busts than mine will like this bra just fine. But I took the fact that I was listed in their sizing chart as evidence that it would actually work for a bust my size, and it just didn't. I've decided to keep it anyway to wear around the house (it really is quite comfortable!), but it just doesn't do the job I bought it for.

I have to say the first feeling I felt wearing this was complete comfort , the material itself is soft and provides the thickness I need to feel confident ( no nipples) love the layers - i posted a pic inside out - I’m heavy on top 36DDD , so the girls are not perky and in my 40’s … but I really needed a strapless bra for a summer top and since I’ve gotten the sweetheart wireless bra from Shapermint, I wanted to give the bandeau a try. I was not expecting the same lift effect but I needed a strapless and I refuse to go back to regular wired bras .. So happy I did , I was comfortable the entire night. Ohh and I also love that it comes with straps !

This is sturdy support for a strapless bra. I got the largest size and am glad I did. It slips over your head. Comes with removable straps on case you want to use it that way. Material is thick.

I do not like padded bras, as they make me very self conscious. The padding on this bra is not removable.The fabric is very constricting and created a weird indent at the top of my chest, pushing down my chest, and at the same time accentuating volume with the terribly thick padding that offered no support or shaping - it was like gluing 2 thick pancakes on the front of my chest. The entire shape is awkward and very uncomfortable. The fabric is scratchy and very thick, almost industrial. Sadly, this is a miss for me. The hunt for the perfect strapless bra continues...
