Great puzzle toy!!
Some folks have talked about it sliding. We used the provided sticky pads, and it's on a hardwood floor, so it doesn't move. We keep it in the same spot for now, and just wipe it down. Our puppy doesn't drool much, so there isn't as much mess as a dog who drools a lot.We have a maltipoo, and initially he was scared of the lids on the outer boxes. So he didn't want to open them - so if you have a timid dog, maybe don't use the outer boxes at first. However, after about a week or so, he was brave enough to open them and now he could care less about the noise. The top part - only complaint - the slide lids can be difficult to open for smaller dogs (as they tend to stick). But now that just adds to the challenge, so it's not really a big deal.I was very surprised (and no this isn't a my dog is brilliant review) at how fast he figured out the slide the pieces to the hole, get the food. Straightaway he figured that out.We have 3 puzzle toys, and his big treat is to be allowed to get treats from all 3. We don't put a lot of food in (some people say this is one way to slow a dog down from eating too fast), but our dog eats wet food, so this is more of a treat, usually somewhere in the day or a bit of time after a meal, just for fun. Like one or two small kibbles per hole. It's just as fun for him as if it was loaded up (we are also watching the amounts that he eats, again he is very small, less than 5 pounds).Overall, he loves this and despite being small, holding him back while putting food in, can be a challenge as the omen gets into him and he always does this one first, so far it is his favorite out of the 3. Great product, and while I am not sure this made him smarter (as he is a puppy so ... yeah ...) it was really fun to see him figure it out and overcome his fear of it making noises he wasn't used to.

Super fun toy for doggo!
My dog goes nuts when she sees me get this one out. She loves sliding the pieces and flipping the tops to find her treats. She did figure it out pretty quickly but that doesn't seem to inhibit her enjoyment. It is easy to fill and pretty easy to clean because all the pieces come off. The only thing is that water will collect in the base when you wash it so you have to drain it well. A few holes in the bottom for drainage would have been nice. Comes with a few extra parts too just in case they get lost of chewed up.

Durable and fun puzzle
My Corgi mix loves his puzzle. I got this one because of the various levels. Jett advanced to level 4 within a couple days. He still loves it and is a great way to slow feed and entertain him. We feed him 1 cup twice a day. I can fit about 1/3-1/2 cup in all the areas in round 1. I like to shoot for 1/3 cup and 3 rounds to keep him busy for a while longer. It only takes him 3 minutes for one round. Note: Jett does chew on the little silos and he is a pretty aggressive chewer. They have held up nicely for over a month now. I thought the little funnel for the silos would be useless but I actually use it all the time. Overall, recommend.

My Shiba LOVES this
My Shiba Inu LOVES this toy. I take off the top and he starts freaking out. I usually buy training treats that are smaller so I can avoid cutting up larger treats or just using kibble (which can be expensive). It took us a week or so of practice, but he finally got the idea that he can push the top down on his own and, after that, we had to watch how many treats were in there because he would clear out a full bag of treats in an afternoon. We love to watch him boop the top of the toy and then check each individual slot to see if a treat came out and then boop at it again. It's very cute and keeps his brain active. Love it!

Great idea and design with cheap parts
When it does work, the feeder definitely slows my dog down since it requires several steps to get to the food—mission accomplished there! I like that I can fit a fair amount of food in here. If I really try to fit a full serving in, it can hold (just barely) 2 cups in the top bowl and all the little compartments. Bigger pieces of kibble, like the Hills Science Large Breed Puppy Lamb & Rice kibble, also fit through the openings when pressed. The downsides of this product are many.First, the pieces covering each small compartment are cheaply made and attached. My dog can easily pull it off and this defeats the purpose of the slow feeder since it removes a step from the process that slows my dog down. It’s also a safety hazard since the pieces are small and medium to large dogs can swallow it.The top piece also is cheaply made and has a poor latching mechanism. The latch eventually loosens after being pressed a couple times by a dog and the bowl falls off, allowing my dog access to the large chamber of kibble, which again defeats the purpose since at this point it’s just a bowl of food. The top needs to be more securely attached and locked in, possibly with more threads like a jar instead of just a little notch on both sides that goes into the bottom piece. Finally, the bottom needs to have more weight and better grips. The feeder is constantly sliding around whether I put it on hardwood flooring or a rug. Part of this can be mitigated if the bottom was heavier. Bigger dogs (my dog is 100 pounds) can topple it over even with simple pawing. My dog has toppled it over several times and the top mechanism just falls right off and food gets all over the floor.

Great for occupying your busy dog!
The media could not be loaded. We have a blue heeler/blue tick hound mix puppy that was a foster fail. We also have 3 older adult dogs that are not usually up for a one year old puppies shenanigans. She's got tons of energy and does great when she has a job. When we're not around to keep her busy or need to get work done this will come in handy. She's very smart and has already figured out how to get the treats in one hour. What I like about this is you can make it harder by sliding the round pegs so that the treat doors are harder to open. Pieces move easily, seems very sturdy and they sent extra pieces just in case one breaks.

Huge capacity, doesn't tip, and extremely durable
First off, I just have to say the main picture for this product is absolutely ridiculous haha, it is very funny, but ridiculous. The treat/kibble dispenser is HUGE, I definitely wouldn't suggest filling it full unless your dog is also huge or you have several, as the contents would likely get damp from humidity over time. It has several internal components, allowing you to separate a variety of different kibbles and treats if you want to. It is super straightforward to fill and doesn't allow pups to break into it with excessive smacking or motion. The dispensing rate is adjustable allowing a little or a lot to come out. It is also very durable, I don't see this being damaged any time soon - if ever - its weight also prevents it from being carried around and hidden. I was skeptical this wouldn't tip over with my very excitable dog, but to my surprise - and my pup's dismay - it won't tip over, it just bobs back upright and spins around a bit. Overall good dispenser, might be more interesting for dogs if there was a 'giggle' noise function, but still draws interest well. One downside is because of its mass size and decent weight, it is not travel friendly.

Fantastic dog puzzle
This dog puzzle is great. It's easy to fill and clean, and made of durable plastics that will last a long time, even when dogs get frustrated and try to bite through.

Great For Cat's Too!
For context, I have a very, very food aggressive orange cat. That singular braincell has been hardwired to seek out and consume food. And he is basically a genius at that.Based on the time it took him to clear the drum set on the hardest setting, I'd have to say this toy is a solid 6.5/10. Which actually isn't too bad. On average I'd say he empties the thing within 30 minutes or so, which all things considered is quite long.In terms of build quality, the plastic feels very robust compared to other puzzle toys. The 6 flaps at the base of the toy are likely to be the weakest point, but they feel fairly robust. Not sure how it would fare against a big dog, but my cat's teeth are like razors and aside from some cosmetic damage they've held in place so far.The food drum itself feels solid, though spinning it was a bit stiff (not that this was an impediment), and removal, filling and cleaning is fairly simple. Just pop off the top (located on the side), and you're good to go. I fill it full of dental kibble, which is a bit larger. Small kibble also works, though might be a bit harder to get at near the end. Once again not an impediment.

Great interactive dog toy
My German Shepard absolutely loves this thing. It's durable, has survived tons of use, is easy to fill with food or treats, and even makes noise to further engage the dog with it. I like how you can adjust the size of the outlet to suit different types of treats or food.

Were working on it
I have a smaller dog that is rather clever and energetic, shes too smart for her own good, and basically never tires out, shes very food motivated as well, so i thought that this might be a good toy for her to try. Unfortunately shes also a massive coward, which has hampered our progress somewhat. The first difficulty we faced is that I dont feed kibble, I feed raw food, which obviously wasnt gonna work for this. I do give her dry treats, and she has a hard time putting on weight so I can feed her quite a few, nontheless she is a small dog, and treats tend to be very high calorie so I still dont want to over do it and give too many.So i loaded the toy up with a few treats on the easiest setting. The instructions on how the toy works are extensive and very well explained and have big, well drawn diagrams. I like that this toy is set up with layers of complexity, its the best way to teach, showing how to do 2 easier individual steps and then combining what has been learned for a bigger challenge. However the second much bigger hurdle came into play here. Any kinds of noise or movement tends to freak my dog out, even if shes the one who caused it (in fact most of the disasters that happen around her are caused by her) so she was at first hesitant to approach but then lured over by the promise of food. However when we got to the actual moving of the parts, the clacking of the plastic would freak her out, and she would abandon the entire thing, and shes enough of a coward that even food wont tempt her to go near something she has decided is "scary".So we have been slowly working up to it, very slowly. Getting her used to it gradually, so unfortunately even though I know shes easily clever enough to figure it out, were still stuck on level 1 and the entire process is like pulling teeth. Still were making progress, and the whole endeavor is fulfilling its obligation of challenging her, so I would say its doing its job.Obviously since she won't be rough with it I cant testify as to how sturdy it is, and she isnt destructive at all, so I dont think it will ever be an issue, however I do like that the toy uses food safe plastic.I feel like this is perhaps a bit of a specific toy that might not fit all circumstances, but still, were finding a way to make it work, and it is, really, quite well designed.
