I was pleased that the stepladder was a quality item. Great for the money. Not too tall. When folded, can fit anywhere.

Very portable!!
This is lightweight, can be carried anywhere, and is very easy to open and close. It fits just about anywhere, when closed - does not take up much space at all. Highly recommended, if you need a step-stool that you will move around a lot.

Would be hard for an elderly person to assemble
No tools needed, just a lot of strength! Very tight tubes need straightened and twisted on. Somewhat wobbly, but will give it a chance at my mom’s house on carpet.

Leg collapsed while standing on the step.
I thought this seemed fairly good quality. I was standing on the step when the spring loaded locking mechanism on one of the legs failed. I weigh 163 lbs, far below the advertised capacity.

Perfect for me
My problem was the bath tub in our new home which was quite deep. I am only 5 feet tall. Getting into the tub was not a problem. Getting out was another story. Getting one leg on the floor and trying to lift the other one high enough to get out was very difficult. Having the little platform to step out on and a rail to hold on to solved my problem.

You feel so safe on this stool
I am a senior and wanted something sturdy for the kitchen so I could reach another level in the cupboards. This is very sturdy and with the handle to help you up and down making it very safe. It is compact so easy to find a space to store it without having to hid it away.
