My earring holes closed, so these are perfect. I've worn them since purchase 3 months ago. No irritation at all. People have mentioned to me that they sparkle, and they are so comfortable to sleep with. It has a thick stem which I turn a few times a day to widen the holes and that's the main reason I bought them. Patting myself on the back for picking this one instead of colored ones. Can be reversed so the smaller size setting is visible. Feel like I got a great deal.

I went ahead and got a pair in the faux mystic (rainbow) topaz, as well as a pair in the clear aurora borealis. I was planning to just try one pair, but as I got a 50% off discount, I got both colors.They do not disappoint, they're beautiful, well made, nice and sturdy earrings. I just LOVE them. It's so cool how the screw-in backs also have crystals, they're also very comfortable to wear as well as sleep in - though I do remove them when I take a shower or bath. They arrive packaged in a plastic ziplock bag, inside a nice pouch. If you're undecided, I advise at least getting one pair. IMO, you won't be disappointed.I've already ordered the black crystals though I won't be ordering the clear ones as I have moissanite studs in gold and white gold, and a pair of diamond studs in rose gold.Superb quality especially for costume-type jewelry. A medium-large stud with rainbow topaz CZ gem and the back has a gem in it as well, so if you are tired of the large one in front you can reverse the look for a simple gem in front if you wish. This design was well thought out so that when people see the back of your earrings they are also decorated and not ugly. You can even wear these to bed; they will not hurt your neck. It makes a nice gift for someone prone to losing earrings, as the screwbacks tend to stay in better.For best results always remove when applying chemicals such as hairspray, body spray, perfume, lotion, sunblock, and insect repellent to avoid ruining the gold plating and the gems. Wipe with a soft cloth wet or dry after each wear. Wash with mild soap and water as needed and a soft toothbrush rinse and dry with a soft cloth wear as usual or store away in a jewelry holder.

I think these are much nicer in person. The gold is more realistic looking in person, and the rhinestone is subtle but eye catching. I love that that screw on back has it's own tiny rhinestone. They come with a velvet bag to put them in, making it nice to to give as a gift. They look huge in the photo on here, but they are much smaller in person. A nice size to be noticed, but not to be garish.
