Great for cleaning a straight and unobstructed BiPap/CPap hoses.
I have a Resmed BiPap Air 10 with a heated hose. As a user with sinus problems, I thought this brush would more thoroughly clean the hose.Product arrived on time and appeared as advertised. The brush fits the tube with sufficient friction to properly clean the hose. The Resmed hose has a 90 degree fitting on one end. Because of the obstruction caused by the fitting, the cable cannot be inserted into the hose to allow the operator to pull the brush through the hose. Instead, the brush must bepushed through the hose. Some may have difficulty pushing the brush through the hose because the cable may bend. Especially people with arthritis. Maybe gloves or a piece of cloth around the cable will assist gripping the cable. It would be much easier to use if your hose has straight and unobstructed ends so the brush could be pulled through the hose. Maybe Resmed should take note?I am still working on an easy way to store the device. Wound it up and stuffed it in a plastic sandwich bag for now. May try a heavy duty paper clip and a quart freezer bag.Overall, I think this product will cleanthe hose much better than just soaking.

I've only used it once now, but it seems to be a well made brush. The thickness of the coiled "handle" part of it I can now see would be better than another brush sold on Amazon that has a thinner "handle"; I just don't see that one feeding through the hose as easily. That being said, it is a bit of a pain to pull the brush through six feet of CPAP hose. Maybe I need to work on my technique, but what I experienced thus far is that when you pull, the hose sort of bunches up then the brush goes through several inches of hose at once. Not so sure that it was doing a good job of scrubbing every inch, so I repeated several more times, starting from opposite ends of the hose. I'm thinking that something more akin to a rifle cleaning rod (that is six feet long) that is stiff so you can push it through wouldn't be better.Anyhoo, it's a bottle brush on the end of a long springy thing. if it falls apart prematurely, I will update this review.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I absolutely love this brush. I am a relatively new CPAP user and have been trying different things while adjusting to the use and upkeep of the machine to maximize the experience because let's face it...its not a fun experience. This brush is the perfect size to get into the tubing and get it surface cleaned. I first run soapy water through the hose. Sometimes I shake it out and let it drip dry for a while and sometimes I use the brush right away. When ready to use the brush, I push it in halfway and then pull it back out. Then flip to the other end and do the same...go in half way and pull out. Seems easier than trying to feed the brush all the way through to the other end of the tube. Works perfectly. I can even get it into the smaller hose attached to my mask. I have also used it with my Respikit daily spray by spraying the brush down good and then running it through the hose a few times. I am confident that this brush will remain a stay in my CPAP care routine.

This is the one you want
This brush is an outstanding product. After cleaning my hose numerous by soaking the hose in dawn/water solution numerous times, I thought it was "good enough". However, after waking up the folowing morning with a cough and wondering if I'm getting sick, I began to wonder if cleaning the "taught" way was not very effective. I decided to give it a try. Wow, what a difference. After running the brush through the tube in the soapy water a few times, rinsing and allowing the tube to dry, then using it the following evening was like it was like "wow". I'm telling you, you wn't believe the difference it makes. It's incredible. I just suggested this item to a family member and I highly recommend you get this for yourselff. Unfortunately this isn't available now but I truly believe this is much better than the competition. The cable is more like a spring than twisted wire. This design is far better because it will always be flexible and won't kink. I'm sorry I didn't buy two of them. Would of, could of should of...

Its best feature is also its worst
This tube cleaning brush has a lot going for it and the price is right in line with other bought and used, however, it is not perfect. So let's just get right to the pros and cons:Pros- Flexible coiled wire makes storage of this very handy and seems less of a danger to climate tubing than other like products- Brush fits normal sized tubing (22mm) and would even fit in slim-line tubing- Will work for 6'-10' hoses as long as BOTH open ends are in-line with the tube (ResMed 9 Climate lines for example but NOT ResMed AirSense 10 Climate lines as they have a 90* elbow)Cons- The flexible nature of the coiled wire makes it very difficult to fish down the CPAP tube. It is like pushing a wet noodle. The wire may be 6'6" but it did not reach the end of my AirSense 10 Climate line as the coil over 6' is not rigid and straight inside the tube. Worked fine for my ResMed 9 hoses as I was able to push it through either end. So you cannot clean the last 4" or so of a climate line that has the 90* angle.- The finger loop of the coil also is small and will fit inside the tube so be careful or you will find yourself using a paperclip to fish out the tool.- The coiled wire takes a little while to dry. Small amounts of water get inside the coil. Also I can only imagine I will need to bleach the coil every so often to kill bacteria on the coil itself.Overall, this is the best tool I have used to date yet its best feature is also its worst enemy

THE BRUSH BROKE OFF IN THE HOSE !!!!
I originally gave this product a very good review, but last night the brush broke off in the middle of the cpap hose! I always coiled up the spring handle and stored the entire brush in a gallon freezer bag, so I did not bend and weaken the metal handle. (It took considerable effort and swearing to remove the brush from the hose.) I had this product for less than a month, and used it only three or four times.I know that there is a certain amount of manufacturing reject in every product, but this was a huge pain.
