Easy to dilute and use. Worked a treat. Used a spray bottle to apply. Plants had nearly had it but this stuff means they are now recovering. New growth on all plants even the ones that were nearly stripped bare.

Nothing seems to stop these little critters so I decided to buy a ton of this stuff and keep dumping in on my box hedge. The were really chomping away it was raining nearly every day so I was spraying every day just to keep some on the hedge. When we had a bit of dry weather I was spraying twice a week or whenever I could see a load of them. We now have a bit of nice weather and they seemed to have stopped, I think died off for now. Trouble is, there are so many eggs stuck on the hedge that I'm going to keep spraying once a week or more to stop them. As you can see from the pictures, a lot of the bottom half has been eaten, but there are some new shoots coming through. Whether the hedge survives or not remains to be seen. Long term I'm going to grow some privet hedge to replace it otherwise it's going to keep costing a fortune. They killed off some hedges I had in the back garden.As for the product, yes, it seems to be working, but don't expect to give it a quick spray and that will sort it, it won't. Constant spraying is required, and the size of my hedge it doesn't come cheep.STOP PRESS! 9th June 2024This product really does work. As I said in my above review, keep spraying until they have stopped and you can't find any more. My hedge is coming back to life and has a lot of new growth. I've trimmed gently with hand sheers, not wanting to over do it, and is responding well. I am checking the hedge daily for the caterpillars, I have read they go through 3 cycles each year, so as soon as they come back I'm going to be out there to obliterate them!Changed rating from 4**** to 5*****

They are being killed right before my eyes. I have recently moved to this product and i’m glad i did, not only is it cheaper but it works very well. For any box tree grower how you apply a product like this is really important, i go inside and out to make sure the little critters are coming contact with it. One word of advice try and pick a block 3 dry days for the most effective results

Box Caterpillars are a big problem. Hard to kill with conventional insecticides. Our box hedge started looking scruffy and within a few days was nearly stripped bare. The caterpillars quickly retreat inside the bushes when they detect any sort of danger - so can be hard to deal with.This product is very easy to use. Mix the powder with water and spray on. Within a day or so the caterpillars were immobile and that was it. Taken around 6 weeks - but the box has now recovered.

Bought this product hoping that it will save my buxus. It worked well and was quick and effective.I recommend it.

My 30 foot long boxus hedge was infested with these caterpillars and this sorted out the issue the same day. I may have caught it too late, only time will tell but there are no more caterpillars to eat the leaves should they grow back.

We only have two small box plants either side of our front door but staggeringly over the course of a few days they were stripped bare of any foliage with no green showing at all.Well the wife spent a couple of days removing well over a hundred caterpillars off the two plants while we waited for this product to arrive. All I can say is we have sprayed them twice over the past two weeks and they have made an amazing recovery.I think the wife's hard work paid off and then this product just done the rest.
