Carhartt Men's Force Sun Defender Lightweight Long-Sleeve Hooded Logo Graphic T-Shirt

I bought this to use in Summer heat while working outside. As a pale skin person, I burn easier and find sunscreen has to be reapplied too often during a long workday. A long sleeve shirt is good but can be hot. This shirt is lightweight, cool, breathable, and protects from sunburn. When I sweat, it dries quickly, and I don't feel weighed down like I do with cotton shirts. With the hoodie and a baseball cap I can keep "redneck" from happening. The sleeves are a little long for me but not so much that it's a problem. I'll be buying more of these.

Great work shirt, excellent fabric. Not too heavy, not too light. More room in the body, sleeves run a normal length. Overall a great shirt, will be ordering more.

I hate getting drenched in sunscreen to mow the yard midday (ProTip: don't mow wet grass and your mower will last much longer). This is a great way to protect my arms, back, and neck from the sun easily, as well as get some protection from bugs and poisonous plants I might encounter when trimming and handling brush. High visibility color is also a nice touch.Even while doing yard work in the 80F-90F this didn't make me feel overheated.

Great for outdoor work , the hood is necessary for me in the California summer .

So i generally like Carhartt clothing, this item is slightly what i would not expect from them. It is a good idea, I like these types of thin hoodies but this the size and fit are off and not what i would expect from Carhartt. I am a medium in Shirts Fleece Hoodies etc. this medium says relaxed fit but is not. Even Large is tight and tight in the armpit as well, it is also short, barely to the waist band. Additionally there is a chin cover above the neck line, that is my least favorite feature and it does not nicely fold away when the hood is down. . I bet i could almost get X-Large. The orange is a lot bright than the orange in the pictures.

I love this sun shirt but the hood on it is really annoying. The hood actually shortens the distance between your neck and shoulders which required me to get a larger size.The hood also not only covers your head but your chin which is pretty strange.I am going to ask a tailor how hard it will be to remove the hood entirely
