Does exactly what it claims to. My son has a little 2003 Vauxhall Corsa which was showing the yellow "engine warning" lamp. A local garage wanted to charge £50 to tell me what it meant, and to turn it off if it wasn't important. I bought this code reader instead. It worked perfectly, showed that the fault was a high emissions reading, which I reset and it hasn't come back since (I did this on advice). Downloading new codes from the internet takes a long time - about 20 minutes in my case - but trust me, the application hasn't hung or crashed, just make a cup of tea and leave it alone :-)terrific investment - easy to use, accurate and well built.Hope this helps!

This is a great value unit and very easy to use. I downloaded the updates from the Creader site and updated the software before I started. The plug is very tight but it worked and cleared the fault light first time. It does not read the extended manaufacturer fault codes, but at the price is very good.

I dont often leave reviews but I had to for this little gadget.Originally I had ordered something similar from ebay - this turned out to be a complete waste of money and was returned pronto.I started looking around on amazon & found the Launch Creader V with its good reviews so went for it. Received it a day after the order was placed :-). I needed to clear some codes on my Jaguar XK8 & after my 1st attempt at buying a fault reader I was a bit skeptical about this one working. Plugged it in checked the codes and it displayed the codes I had seen on a more expensive snapon reader which pleased me no end, next I pressed remove errors and again this little worked.So to conclude for the money this is a top bit of kit.

Was used on a Honda S2000 AP2 with no issues. Plugs straight into the port under the passanger airbag. Very informative and easy to use.

Handy tool to have, its needed these days to determine faults.Works well on 07 Focus diesel, 06 Octavia diesel, 12 Doblo..Only downside is that it can't reset service lights but I knew that before buying so can't complain!!

Very easy to use, only difficulty is locating the socket to hook up to your vehicle. Use google the code to diagnose the problem

good unit does what it says it does.. good kit i recently bought 2002 200 cdi mercedes. i never had one . withe the launch machine i can see how the cars running, relax and enjoy driving it.
