I've recently brought an extended hose which liked to coil up... I purchased this because i thought it would allow for rotation when using to help prevent this. It does work amazingly... when the water is off/pressure is low. Once the pressure builds up, this mechanism becomes slightly stiff and doesn't swivel freely like I thought it would (or like my friends does). So it's helpful to be able to hold and twist it (as opposed to being rigid) but it's not exactly what I was hoping for during use.
