I really like these stains. They look very dark when you put them on, but when peeling off, the color is much lighter. If you want it to be a little darker, you can put on another coat. ( I do prefer them a little darker) I find using a lip brush makes it easier to apply the stains. You definitely have more control with a brush, and you can get more precise lines. The color does last a very long time, I've even had them last until the next day, and your lips do not feel really dried out. However, you can use a little lip gloss or chap stick over the top if you want a little more moisture. After application, you need to keep your lips open until the stain completely dries. That is very important. You can get some on your teeth if you are not careful, but after peeling off you can brush your teeth and rinse out your mouth. You just don't want your lips to stick together during the drying. Also, it's a good idea to exfoliate your lips to prep them before you apply the stain. I do wish that there were more color options available. Overall though, I really like the stains, and hopefully a broader selection of colors will be available soon. One drawback is that the stains will stain your fingers or other things if you get any on them, so just be careful and have some wet napkins or something near you for any accidental color transfers.

I absolutely love these lip stains. The colors come out soft and pretty. Make sure to keep your mouth open and chin tilted up when you apply the stain. If you don’t, your lips will stick together. It only needs to stay on for 10 minutes before you peel it off. I recommend buying a lip brush for more accurate application.

This works perfect if you are just looking for a tinted stain to your lips. Stains are just that. They don't have the same coverage as lipstick. Loved this for my days were I am going for a more natural look and don't have time to be fussing with my lipstick all day.

The lip stain works!! The first night the package came, I tried three of the colors- may I warn you in advance, that’s a bad idea. My lips dried out and cracked after the third time (nothing a night of lip balm couldn’t fix)The look reminds me of what my lips look like after eating a popsicle. The color is rich but doesn’t last 12 hours- maybe 3 at bestThe purple makes me look like I have frostbite.The other 5 colors are gorgeous and I love changing it up!Be aware- it takes 10-15 minutes to dry from a tacky paint consistency to a peel-off lip mask. I’d recommend using a lip brush- and be careful not to get on your teeth!

Love the look of the finished product! I have a problem with keeping the stain off my teeth and holding my mouth open while drying. But in the end it does work as advertised.

I love the new version of this product! It is so much easier to apply. It dries, peels off, and the color saturation is so much better than the older version of this product. I love all the colors, they give me a different look depending on how I want to do my makeup. I am in love and will definitely by buy this again.

This product is amazing. Not a fan of the Mauve, the one with the purple lid. It turned my lips blackish purple. Just not a good color on me. All the other colors are amazing. I apply it with the pointed end of a wooden skewer, leave ten minutes without pressing my lips together then peel. I lasts several hours but not all day. I usually apply once before work and once in the early evening. Love it, obsessed

So I LOVE these. I like to be low maintenance with my make up. I just wanted something that added color to my lips. If your expecting it to be like lipstick dont order it.These are my tips:1. Moisturize your lips. I use nüg. Also exfoliate if your lips are dry and cracked.2. Dry with you mouth open. (Its easier than it sounds) I put it on and then get dressed. Do my brows. Then it's time to peel off the lip stain.3. I use a paper towel to wipe off excess stain.4. Then brush your teeth in case you got stain on them.5. Then you're ready to go. Put chapstick on over the tint through out the day.The darker colors do fade a little through out the day, but these tints do last through my work day.
