I wear XXL but probably should have bought a smaller size but they are tie string so no big deal. Great material and arrived very quickly. Bought a couple more pairs of shorts for my daughters.

Overall, there's a lot to like about these shorts. They're very comfortable - the materials are soft and thick and the stitching seems to be quite good quality as is the sewn on emblem (not screen printed here). It looks like they'll last quite a while, even with a good bit of wear. The light grey color is nice (I have the Penguins version) and the two side / hand pockets are nice and deep. They're lined which is good for both comfort and durability.The waistband has a drawstring that can be cinched to keep them up which is a good thing - I'm 5'11" and about 170lbs and usually a medium in just about everything, but here the medium is a bit too big. Mostly that's in the legs though which are a good bit wider than I'd prefer. But as I'm using them for loungewear, it's just fine. For the quality and style, this is a reasonable price - if you're an NHL team fan these are a good buy!

The shorts are great but the shipping cost was more than the shorts! Excessive. But I do like the shorts. Not as soft as I would like but does have the Hawks logo.

They're basketball shorts. Below the knee. Baggy. I wouldn't wear them out but others may like the style. Great for around the house work. Still, five stars because they are extremely well made and the fabric is tough.

These are some comfortable shorts! Being a Blackhawks fan, I was excited to sport a bright red pair of shorts that everyone could see from a distance. These shorts were perfect, I had a neighbor yell from a distance, "nice shorts!". The color matches the Blackhawks red perfectly!They are made with a comfortable fabric, some holes that could be see-through if someone is really trying to peak through. The Blackhawks logo is of excellent quality, the stitching to hold the patch was good.They are everything I would expect of a short that I want to sport my favorite hockey team. They do the job perfectly and make me comfortable.I typically wear a Size 36 waist in jeans/pants and the XL fit perfectly.

Absolutely awesome Bruins shorts! Nice loose and comfortable mesh material, good drawstring and waistband. Great logo stitching and design. Really nice made shorts for the NHL fan! Recommended!

These are pretty retro shorts in a few ways. First, the logo and the overall design of the shorts (for the Canadiens, which is the one I got) has a pretty classic look to them, and the logo is well stitched into the material. Secondly the length of the shorts if a bit shorter than I’m used to, it feels very much like the length I would expect from NHL shorts from the 80s or 90s. All my other shorts are a few inches longer, while these are hovering much higher on the thigh. That’s not to say there’s anything wrong with that, nor does it show more than you would want them to, but from a stylistic perspective it’s definitely the biggest change I find between these and all my other shorts, whether for workouts or casual wear.These shorts seem designed for exercise, as they are baggy enough to let air circulate but short enough to stay out of the way while moving a lot. The material is extremely breathable and perfect for when you’re working up a sweat. The waistband is extremely elastic, with the drawstring tightened I honestly think even an XXL could fit on someone who wears small or medium, provided they tie it tight enough. I wear an XL and found there was a ton of stretchiness in the waistband for someone larger to wear them, as well as lots of drawstring left if they were given to someone smaller.I was not sure if officially licensed merchandise would be better or worse than the usual stuff I find online with sports logos slapped on them, but in this case it’s definitely better, with very high quality materials and a great looking design.
