Salzmann 3M Water Resistant Rain Suit - Reflective Rain Coat and Rain Pants - Made with 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material

It was two days before we were to get on a boat to go see birds that never come to land, and we realized our 'rain gear' wasn't enough. Searched on amazon and found a good price and reviews for this top and bottom combo, so we tried it. One of my best Amazon purchases ever! They fit well--I'm 5'4" and my boyfriend is 5'9" and medium worked on both of us! They are lightweight but still felt sturdy enough. They stopped water and wind and were not at all cumbersome--they were kinda fun to wear actually. Just so happy with this purchase, so I hope this will help someone else try with success, too.

lightweight, easy to carry on, not costly

Light weight and easily stuffed into a pack. Waterproof, and I like the reflective features. The "unisex zipper" annoys me a little because it is opposite what I am used to (jacket is women's style rather than men's style). The pants have an excellent fit if I wear them with hiking boots or if I were a runner. I tried them with knee-height rubber boots, and they are too narrow to fit over the boot.

This looks like a great wet weather outfit. I purchased the medium to wear whilst dog training during wet weather.It fits over my jeans and top with room to spare for cold weather layers, I am 5'4 and 150lbs. I can get the pants on with with smaller shoes, and boots (I managed to get pants on over my RM William boots) but I don't think they would go over my heavier 511 boots.The jacket has two pockets, unfortunately the pants do not have pockets.The gear is not lined, so I'm thinking it's going to get awfully sweater and sticky during the hot humid summer. I like that it comes in a little bag. I will be keeping in the car for the wet weather emergencies.Not sure how durable the material is, I will update my review once I have worn it.

Used it in torrential downpours over the weekend on a SAR class. It kept me mostly dry. What didn't stay dry was where the rain suit touched my pants, it allowed the water to seep through and dampen my clothes. But in their defense it was raining sideways for 8 hours and it could have been far worse. It does run small in size though. I bought a large and am 5' 9" and 225lbs. The legs are long enough but skinny fit and the top fit more like a smedium. Overall it was pretty good and still better than the sport F Togs that I normally buy.

I work outside and I work LONG hours out there. Once I'm caught in the rain, unprepared, I'm miserable because I'm likely to stay that way for 5 hours more. This suit is great! I love the subtle strips that provide a touch of flair and reflective safety. The suit does run a little large but that is great for layering without feeling like a marshmallow.

Likes:Keeps me warm and dry...Fits well on top of my regular clothes...Dislikes:Zipper gets stuck every time! The zipper material on the under side is such that it gets caught every time when zipping up. This is a bad experience because it takes a lot of effort to undo the problem, almost to the point you want to just trash it.Weird problem; zipper tab is on the left side rather than the right. I am under the impression that a left-side zipper tab denotes a female-style jacket.Pants do not have any pockets. It would have helped a great deal if the paints also had zippered pockets like the jacket does.Update 12/19/18:I definitely do not recommend this product at all. All the zippers get stuck at critical times the material behind it gets jammed in the pocket zippers and the front main zipper. It is so irritating, frustrating, and annoying that sometimes it almost leads to a temper tantrum. E.g., at a traffic light, I may hurriedly take off my glove to get something out of my inside jacket pocket or even the side pocket. The entire time will be spent either lower or desperately trying to raise a badly jammed zipper; THIS IS VERY, VERY POOR design!! AND A MAJOR, MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD! IT IS TERRIBLE!Furthermore, the highly bragged about 3M reflective tape is peeling off in areas where there is no evidence of any abrasion. It is peeling off of the jacket as well as the pants. Speaking of the pants, the lack of pockets is reason enough to have returned this irritating product. It's irritating characteristics have finally outweighed all its benefits.I can now feel very free by saying I HATE IT WITH A PASSION!

If you’re looking for a rain suit / gear that is actually waterproof, where the rain won’t soak thru after extended wear - THIS IS THE ONE. I got this for my husband as he often has to work out in the rain, and this is the best thing ever for him. He says he no longer gets soaking wet, it doesn’t soak thru. Sizing is also as expected. We had a hard time finding something that would be waterproof and based off reviews many things say they are but then it soaks thru. This one doesn’t. Definitely recommend.

Garantizado no te mojas nada. Cómodo. Lo malo es cuando te lo mandan que viene tan pegado que parece que se va a romper para separar entre si.

It's very easy to put on and takes little space to keep but it's not fully waterproof.
