NGK: Good reliable spark plugs
I used these on a 2002 Honda Civic LX (1.7L I-4) with great results. The owner of the car does not put many miles on it so there was no need to buy the 3x more expensive Iridium tip plugs. While these won't last 100,000 miles, they are in fact an equivalent copper core plug drop in. This means that it has the same thread size and heat range. NGK has a great spark plug decoder on their website to be able to understand their naming nomenclature. You won't notice the difference between these copper plugs and the Iridium ones in the short term.NGK is an OEM supplier for many manufacturers and I have always had great luck with their plugs. While never the cheapest, they have always been reliable and make the engine run like it should (no misfires). I will personally stick with NGK because they are the OEM supplier to all the vehicles I own (VW, Suzuki, KTM).

Excellent Plugs!
I purchased 4 of these for my 2004 MazdaSpeed Miata (Mx-5). These were a perfect fit. There are several enthusiast websites / forums that recommend using these in turbocharged cars because of the deeper socket - they sit deeper in the engine where the spark can be more effective, especially compared with regular length plugs. I'm not 100% sure the science behind this, and I'm also not sure how these compare to iridium, platinum, etc. I pulled out my old plugs when doing my 60k service and they looked completely fine (no oil, no fouling, no blackening, etc). I decided to change them anyway since I already paid for the new ones - might as well since they're only $2-3 a piece. Even though my old plugs looked fine, these seem to be an amazing upgrade. Maybe it's the deeper plug, maybe its because they're new, maybe its a placebo, who knows. But the engine seems smoother and feels like its purring compared to before. Make sure to get a spark plug gap tool and gap these to the specs in your car's owner's manual. They are not gapped correctly for every car out of the box, so make sure you check.

You can't go wrong with NGK!
I have tried many different spark plugs and have found you can't go wrong with NGK copper plugs (nickle plated copper in this case). Although copper plugs don't last quite as long as platinum or iridium, they perform better, and are far cheaper. In my case I put these in a 5.9 Magnum motor to replace the factory recommended Champions and the motor spins up much more freely now, but the Champions were very worn, so it is not a fair comparison.

Why use something else when you know what works!
Never had any check engine lights that were spark plug related or had one fail or crack on install or removal(I use anti seize). I used these in a D17A2 Honda engine out of a 2002 Honda Civic EX, these replaced 2 year old/45 thousand mile old NGK spark plugs that had no problems just preventative maintenance. I don't know why people use other brands when the price difference is less then 10% and most of the time these are what the factory had from the start. If you depend on your car these are something you can trust and depend on with a high enough trust that you will forget about them.

I have not put these in my vehicle yet, ...
I have not put these in my vehicle yet, but they are the same ones I have now. I live in Japan and have my CRV repaired on the base. They order parts out in town. I bought the because 4 of them here will cost me about $27 for 4 of them . These were only $7.96 for the 4. They are brand new. I trust they will be OK.
