They didn’t shrink hardly at all that I could notice. However, the first time I washed them I didn’t dry them but have since. Super comfy and great fit. Not to baggy but not to slim either. Shipping was fast. I have them in black as well. I don’t wear them to do any construction or similar work so I can’t comment on that. But, it is Carhartt so they speak for themselves in that department.

My husband is very hard on pants. He has always worn Levi’s when we worked at a sawmill and farm. He started working at a fencing company and jeans weren’t holding up. He decided to try these pants a couple years ago. They have held up so much longer than expected! He usually rips the crotch, thighs and knees out of his jeans. These have held up!! He prefers the pants with leveled pockets so that way his keys and pocket knife don’t fall out when he sits down.This new pair does have a wear spot that the others didn’t have. I will contact the seller about that. Overall, he likes these pants. They have held up better than anything so far. I also have not shrunk them! He’s worn other $$$$ brand pants but they shrunk. Oops. These also dry quicker than jeans! He hasn’t busted the crotch out, torn a pocket or knees, or busted a belt loop. I have no plans on switching.He’s 6ft and around 190 pounds. 34x32 fit best, also a 35x32. He was wearing a 32x32 in jeans but had to go up a little with these. Oh and grease and oil stains, just like anything else. One thinned spot, but crotch seam and pockets are great!The last two pics are of another pair that’s about two years old. He worked on fencing daily. Now he is working on farm equipment at a machine shop so he always comes home covered in grease.

This is my second pair of this style of carhartts. I ordered a brown thinking they’d be similar to their coffee brown they have since I need that color for my work regulations. It came to be more of a taupe which still works but not what I wanted. I love that these aren’t a stiff or scratchy canvas, they’ve got a little stretch (but not too much) and they get softer over time. The phone pocket is my favorite feature as well.

I'm pretty hard on pants and I have continuously bought this style as they fit well and are durable.

Im a 5’5” male . Pants in a 28 “ length are very hard to find, but these are a great fit , look neat, make my butt look great. Can wear casually out or be rough on them at work. Great pants

Good quality work pant.

I own numerous pairs of Carhartt pants and these pants feel like the material is thinner than normal , now for me it isn’t a complaint since it makes it easier to move around in but if someone was wanting that stiff material like most Carhartt pants you might want to choose a different one.Time will tell how these hold up and I will update my review as time progresses.

Nice Pants, fit well buy them

These are nice and light weight geared more towards the summer months, perfect for maybe yardwork or anything along those lines. Not sure how well they would hold up under heavy use on a jobsite, also they fit quite snug at the waist. They also fit a lot more slimer on your legs then the regular work dungarees from Carhartt.

Very happy with the service and the product. I only wish that the color in these pants didn't fade so easily. I have purchased dozens of pairs, tried several cleaning methods and it seems to be a consistent issue. Otherwise, I am happy with the fit and durability.
