An excellent service - easy to order and pay for. Arrived on time in a well packed box.The tap: good casting with a chromed brass body. A plastic hose connector fitted to the lower outlet. Both outlets have individual quarter turn taps enabling individual isolation - ideal in my case as I can turn the hose off and leave the timer on.The lever handle for the main tap is easy to operate so if you have problems turning conventional taps on and off this tap is ideal. Conversely if there are ‘little fingers’ or ‘four legged noses’ about they may turn the tap on for you.The threads are well cut however when changing from a conventional garden tap the thread starts out of sync to the wall mount. Outcome ‘Plumber’s mate’ and a few whiskers of hemp required to make a neat water tight seal. (Ptfe tape if you prefer will do).Since fitting the tap I have noticed a similar version much cheaper but it doesn’t appear to match the quality so in my opinion paying a reasonable price (not cheap though) is worth it.Only negative issue: the green hose connector is not made by Hozelock. When I put my Hozelock connector on water gushed everywhere. The seating on the outlet is large therefore the washer in the tap connector cannot bed squarely. I put the green connector that can with the tap back on and no leaks at all.The water timer I use is made by Claber. It is very well made and fitted the lower outlet very easily.Yes I recommend the tap - looks neat, does the job I want it for, supplied quickly and efficiently. Easy to fit (quicker than writing this review).

Functionality of this product is excellent. It is easy to use and two outlets is a huge improvement over one, allowing one permanent connection, if desired, and another multi-purpose.The lever is quite bendy and weak. Hang a watering can on it and you are in trouble. The taps do not point down when tightened, but sit at an obtuse angle. The screw thread on the front tap is too shallow for a normal screw-on hose fitting and is prone to leak as a result but most other products are the same and can be fixed with PTFE tape.

The BFG Outside Tap Kit works fine once everything is in place, but I recommend considering your intended use before installing. I used it for a timer setup and had some trouble fitting all the components together. While it functions as expected, careful planning during installation is key to avoid any issues.

Bought to attach hose but also as a tap without having to use hose - sturdy design - no problems fitting.

Tap used in conjunction with a Wifi tap controller to implement an automated plant irrigation system. Has two independently controlled outlets - one by large 1/4 turn lever suitable for the Wifi controller and a second manually controlled by a small plastic lever (useful for a hosepipe used for manual watering or pressure washer etc).Main gripe is that it is difficult to set the orientation the tap with respect to the water supply pipe- there is no method of adjustment. The tap comes with an 'O' ring which is useless - it would be better to have an adjustable knurled threaded ring and use plumbing tape or jointing compound to ensure a watertight joint.All works fine with the automatic Wifi tap controller. Very pleased.

Everything I expected, and the lowest price around for this brand - mine was branded Calido. Smooth and easy operation of both big and little levers, good flow, no leaks. Love it!EDIT: The handle nut started to rust and stain the INOX handle. Bright plated steel nut is a poor choice by the manufacturer. I've cleaned the handle and treated mine to a new stainless steel M8 dome nut. I also fitted brass hoselock compatible adaptors, as yes, the green plastic jobbies aren't that great
