This is an amazing telescope. Right off the bat it included several accessories, storage bags, and several lenses, along with even a mount if you’d like to put your phone camera on the lens to take photos. The instructions included were also amazingly clear and easy to follow, and the assembly of the telescope was very easy and straightforward, even I could do it within 10 minutes of first opening the box. It included everything I needed to get started, with 3 lenses, a 10mm, 25mm, and a Barlow lens 3x, along with a finder scope to adjust for your target. Me, as a newbie, was able to follow the great instructions and get it all setup and working, and provided me great insight to the process of using the telescope. It is also a great looking and sturdy feeling scope as well, great aluminum build on the scope and stand. Alignment is very easy, especially with the finder scope. I first generally lined it up with the finder scope, then switched to the 25mm lens and was able to quickly focus on my target. Focusing is very simple with a nice easy to reach knob too, and you can lock in the alignment by twisting the handle, which is a great feature to have. Another big plus with this is the travel bag, you don’t need to disassemble or assemble much, and it all easily fits back into its bag that also has several straps to secure it well. Great focusing, build quality, inclusions, and scope, amazingly easy for beginners and I’d highly recommend this telescope!Can’t wait to see some of the upcoming events in the sky with this!

This is perfect for up at the cottage where it is darker. It was super easy to assemble and set the sights up. Very light weight and easy to set up on the tripod. The bag that you store it in, is cushioned to protect it. I would recommend this for a beginner looking at the stars.

The media could not be loaded. As a beginner with a growing desire for stargazing, I decided to purchase this Dianfan 90800 refractive telescope and I must say it did not disappoint. Does it provide the quality of a $1000+ scope? maybe not, but personally, I feel its slightly more than just a beginner scope and gets the job done well, not to mention for a $200 telescope, its very good for someone who doesn't want to break the bank but also enjoy space with the family.I was able to get some nice shots using my iPhone 13 (+ included phone adapter) of our moon (waning gibbous), and physically viewing through the scope was a bit more clearer than the pictures. I haven't tried other planets or stars yet so can't speak on that, but the moon was very majestic to view, especially leaving the person in awe when you see it enter the field of view for the first time.Some pros and cons:Pros:*Excellent packaging: all items came as advertised. I was surprised how durable the grey case was and it also comes with a mini grey case for the phone adapter and 25 mm / 10 mm / Barlow lenses.*Portable: telescope itself is durable, easily moveable, and travel friendly if you want to take it away someplace.*Easy assembly: Took 10 minutes to assemble the first time, but now that I know, it shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes.*Good price for valueCons:*Phone adapter: Designed well for the most part, however, when I install the phone and respective lens, this phone adapter assembly becomes heavy. And so while installing on the scope, it pushes the scope down and so pushes the moon out of view (I'd have to constantly re-adjust and hold onto the scope with one hand and the adapter with the other hand to re-align). But maybe I need to tighten the scope more to prevent it from moving. However, was a bit inconvenient but a minor issue to consider.Overall, a great purchase and look forward to using it some more.

I was not able to use this telescope for a while due to bad weather but my family was finally able to use it this past week. We were disappointed with the telescope though. It was difficult to focus and see out of compared to other telescopes we have used. I would not recommend purchasing this. I wish we were still in the window to get a refund.
