I purchased the 212XL Ink Cartridges High Capacity Black & Standard Color Combo Pack Remanufactured for Epson 212 Ink Cartridges on August 1, 2024 because the cost of the Epson 212 standard capacity cartridges went up everywhere I looked in the store, and even at Walmart the XL combo pack that used to cost around $40 now costs $60. The printer I have, the Epson Workforce WF-2850 doesn't print enough (in my opinion) for me to spend that much on the cartridges (yield capacity for standard cartridge is around 150 pages and XL is 300.Admittedly I was worried this would be an issue because the chips in these economical home printers are sensitive and I've never had luck using recycled cartridges, but instead of disappointed I am impressed with their performance!The installation was straightforward and the printer recognized the new cartridge immediately without issue (to date). The print quality is as expected and black and color prints are sharp, vibrant, and are consistent with the output of original Epson cartridges. I am particularly pleased with the high capacity we've received so far with the black cartridge as it has lasted much longer than I anticipated, even with consistent use.The best part of this deal is fact that it is so cost-effective. Product replacement cartridges work until you do a firmware update!! Then you can’t past this step leaving your printer inoperable until you replace with the branded Epson cartridges. So don’t do your latest firmware update and this product will work just fine.
