My 11 and 13 yr old kids use it and works for them!
My 11 yr old boy and 13 yr old girl use it on tee work and soft toss and it helps increase their bat speed. I have seen a considerable difference when they consistently use this bat in tee work and soft toss and then go to their normal bat. This bat helps with keeping the hands inside and prevents casting. Will take the kids some getting used too (will probably complain it's to heavy or hurts their hands) but keep at it and it will improve their swing.
