Better than the '70's version
I purchased this with no expectations of quality based on memory. I was horribly pleased that this tasted much much better than the last time I ate one in the early aughts. Now if Banquet could just help Beyond fix their flavor issue.....

Great flavor
I'm mostly a chicken eater, but this has a lot of flavor...and a bit too much salt. I don't know why manufacturers think we need so much salt. Do they think we are too weak to lift a salt shaker if we need more? Real chefs don't over salt.I did like the meat flavor,which would be even more flavorful without such salt.

Pretty good though kind of bland
The steak is a little on the bland side, and the apple dessert was hard to cook and messy, spilling into other parts of the food. Overall it was not a good experience.
