I absolutely loved this book. So many parts of this book took me by surprise I never thought these things would happen. it was not a love story at any means. However the ending was very sweet. My suggestion to anyone reading this book is to take their time as this is not an easy read it becomes most enjoyable when taking the time to obsorb the events in full

Well, Eliza Andrews has done it again with something totally different from her previous two but none the worse for that. She warns readers not to expect the usual formulaic 'hearts and flowers' HEA and if you're reading this you should heed that warning! No spoilers from me; suffice to say that if you want a quality read that's totally different from the norm, give this a try! 5 stars simply for daring to be different.

I was captivated by the book from the first page. It was so much more than I expected. A story of love, loss, fears and friendship. The various plot twists were unique and kept me guessing. I am usually good at guessing a story ending, but not this one. Refreshing to have something new to read in the lesbian romance genre. Highly recommended.

A wonderful story that captures your attention from the start and takes you on the roller coaster journey of Lucinda's situation. What an incredible, kind soul Ardie is! One of my favourite characters! The twists and turns of the story throughout until the end leave you breathless with suspense & it's fabulously done.

This is the first (but certainly not the last) book by this author that I have read. Other than being a big fan of lesfic, I didn't really have any expectations. So this excellent book was a great surprise. Like all good lesfic, the charactisation is very good, and the storyline gradually becomes gripping. Well deserves 5 stars

I read this book and I thought it had a good mix of characters, plot lines and drama. It isn't your traditional lesbian fiction, but a good read all the same. I would recommend giving it a read.

I really enjoyed this book, it was very well written, a real page turner, I could not put it down, so much so that as soon as I had finished I ordered two more books by Eliza Andrews. I am always pleased to find a new lesfic author who grabs my attention,which this book certainly did.
