Mumbai is one of my favorite cities in the world because of all the stories one hears and experiences there. This book narrated just that - all the stories from the lanes, beaches, markets, buildings and houses of Mumbai. The author has written the book in such a lovely narrative style that you feel like you know someone from each of his set of short stories - it is that relatable.Pick the book and give it a read - highly recommended

With all its vibrant colors, Mumbai glows brightly, telling many stories that paint a full picture.I visited Mumbai, the beautiful city, back in 2000 or so with my parents when I was a kid in school. I have great memories of the days we spent there.Author Vaibhav Srivastav's book Sea of Stories revolve around Mumbai and the pages almost gave me a nostalgic vibe.Though I did not stay there for long, I was able to feel connected to the characters. They led ordinary lives that created extraordinary stories.These stories have the ability to touch a reader's heart deeply and leave a mark. I definitely found them beautiful.Very thoughtfully created tales with a beautiful narrative style that not only made the stories shine in the dark but also made the characters immortal in some ways, becoming a part of what makes Mumbai the tapestry of many tales! It's second book of the author Vaibhav Srivastav ( First one being Borrowed from tomorrow) and his stories have become more beautiful and his story telling more delightful.Mumbai may have umpteen infra problem but if you have loved this city or found hope , love, peace or just yourself here, you will love this book.Intriguing plots , conversation that flows with a touch of magical realism ....perfect weekend read.
